Hello there, fellow adventurers!
It is my very great pleasure to announce that my Patreon page is finally up and running! I technically already announced this in the author's notes of Multiverse, but I know many people skip those entirely, and I also wanted to go into more detail about the rewards for each tier of support!
Given the often-irregular rates at which I tend to update, I opted for a monthly approach for donations, with three tiers!
Fellow Adventurer - $5 a month
- Access to an exclusive patrons-only discord server called "The Adventurer's Guild"
- Weekly Vlogs and/or Newsletters from myself about ongoing projects
- Having their name displayed on the front of my user page as a special thanks
I honestly really worry about making sure people get their money's worth in rewards if they donate, so I plan on being very active in the discord server and thorough in my Vlogs and newsletters to talk about the process of writing, any unexpected obstacles, and the most highly anticipated updates. I want people to feel truly involved in what I do and in my stories.
Experienced Adventurer - $10 a month
- All the benefits of the "Fellow Adventurer" tier, as well as:
- Access to my WIPs folder, including (but not limited to)
- The 65-page crossover that eventually became The Multiverse in a Nutshell - a "prototype" of Multiverse, if you will, featuring an exclusive crossover.
- Multiple unfinished future chapters and arcs that are still months away from being added to the current story of Multiverse
- Several first drafts of original works, including the stories that the characters "Isis" and "Noir" originate from!
- And old notes and drafts of my other fimfiction stories, such as "Happy Adventuring, Twilight!" and "Daughter of Chaos"
- Access to a special voice channel on the Discord server where I'll be doing live fic readings chosen by you!
- An exclusive role on Discord and special mention on my user page!
This is personally my favorite of the tiers. People ask me constantly about when Multiverse is going to have "X" character or franchise, and this is their chance to see my future plans for themselves! Also, I REALLY enjoy doing fic readings, I used to do them on another discord server and I'm looking forward to picking them up again!
And finally:
Expert Adventurer - $20 a month
- All the benefits of the Fellow and Experienced Adventurer tiers, of course! As well as:
- An extra-special role on the Discord server and on my profile page
- Monthly requests for short fics (1-3k words long) as time and energy permit (Contact me via DM for more details on what is and isn't allowed)
- The ability to request One-on-One chats and calls
- Personal requests for fic readings and recordings of readings
- Suggestions for crossovers to include in "The Multiverse in a Nutshell" with extra priority
This is the one with the most personal involvement. I want anyone who chooses to support me at this tier to know that they mean the world to me, and they'll receive special personalized content!
I genuinely love writing for you all, and if you would be willing to help support me, even for just a few dollars a month, it would mean the world to me and put me one step closer towards my goal of being able to support myself with my creative work!
I do want to also say: If you want to support but aren't in a situation where you can right now, please don't worry! Just being here, reading, and commenting already makes my day! All of my fimfiction content will continue coming out as it always has: as often and as soon as I can make it! You're not going to miss out on some part of your favorite story because you couldn't pay for it.
