Welp, forgot to get this out last week 
So this week will be a double blog post whammy.
Since this is an important one, it goes first. It has regards to the question that I answered for the user Starlight Nova a couple weeks ago. I figured that a comment might not do it justice, so a blog post what the next best thing.

There is a whole backstory about how this became one of the centralized pillars of inspiration for this story. I’ve mentioned briefly in the story description that this story got its name from this song.

So, here is the lowdown. Upon looking up the YouTube video, we are greeted with the song and a cover image. The image is a tree sitting atop a hill. If you’ve been following along closely, this should ring a bell especially for Transparent Living Chapter 5: In Dreams (or any dream section for that matter) (https://www.fimfiction.net/story/323656/5/transparent-living/chapter-5-in-dreams). The scene is actually based off of this. This seems to be the pinnacle of my writing, as I seem to not know how to pull it off again. I’ve learned that it’s best that I don’t taint the piece by creating a duplicate.
I had not idea that I could pull it off, though. I like how calm and collected the scene is, and how important to the storyline it is to mention the contrasts between Diamond Tiara’s Expectation and Reality. The rest is up to interpretation. But, by far, this chapter is the crown jewel of the whole story.

Now, to go deeper into the rabbit hole. By the look around this Newgrounds page, there is a deeper underlying story. The artist, Reasoner (they have their real name, but let’s just stick with Reasoner), mentions the story of how this song came to be. In a TLDR sense, the same thing happened to me. For those who don’t know, there has been an almost three-year hiatus between chapters 5 and 6. Reason? Lack of Inspiration. Something wasn’t lining up. Was this whole thing even worth it?
…You can guess how the answer came later. Let’s just say my writing reverted to a stage that I didn’t like, but somehow, with this haunting my thoughts, it obsessed me to finish this and to vow to finish it. (Obsess in a good way). There was one way to get out of writer’s block, and it was to power through. Nothing of great worth in this life comes easy. But, that doesn’t mean the journey is going to be terrible. Creating the rest of the story was by far the most fun thing I’ve done in years. Every time I was on the bus after being swamped with homework from university, I found time to create this- it gave me a moment to decompress- for a least 20 minutes during the weekdays.
With Section 6 on the Horizon, I just want to thank all of you who have read through the long fillers and setups. Section 6 is where a lot of things will be revealed, but not all. I’ve planned an ending that will catch most of you off guard! This is just the beginning of the end!
