A step towards my biggest dream / career goal has been found! - I found a band that wants to take me on! · 11:31am Jun 26th, 2020
Alright, no other way to say this, so I'mma get right into it - That dream many of you know about, of me wanting to be a punk rocker in a band? I've been chatting with my cousin (who's in the music scene and is popular amongst others) ands put me through to a music group. I've spent the last day or so chatting to individual members, eventually finding the drummer of a grunge band that said he loved the demo I sent him.
I was asked to come along to a recording studio they record in when I have the free time, and we'll jam and see where it all goes. They've been looking for a 4th member and he says I'm what they've been looking for, so I think that pretty much seals the deal. When I can figure out a time slot to get into the studio with them, I'm hoping for the best and it can be a permanent thing. I've been searching for this opportunity for SO long! It wouldn't have been possible without my cousin, so I owe her a massive thanks and gratitude for putting me through to all these people.
Who knows, by the end of it, if all goes well and they like some of the stuff I wrote, we might actually end up with a gig or two. Perhaps a CD or record if things go even better, but it's important to not get ahead of ourselves. I've been looking for this moment for so long I can't tell you how amazing it is to have finally found a band that likes my work and is willing to take me on. I'm hoping this is the start to something great!
When it all takes place, I have to let you know how it goes.

Once I get there and get to know everyone, I'll have to let you know how it goes, via blog! If I become an official member, I'll be ecstatic and have to send you some songs and stuff! I'm so looking forward to it!
