Update on Rekindling the Flames · 4:57am Jun 26th, 2020
As I've said in my latest chapter, I initially planned on two really big chapters to bring Rekindling the Flames to a close. I already figured long before I got to this point that the last chapter or two would be the longest in the story. However, I've decided to change things up.
Instead of two long final chapters, there will be multiple chapters to come. I don't know how many more chapters there will be, at this point it's a "it will be done when it's done" kind of approach. If I had to make a guestimate, I would say around 4-5 more chapters.
I decided to go with this because it allows me to get chapters out more regularly and focus on a certain part of the story. For example, someone asked if there would be any chapters dedicated to the Soarindash vs Soarinjack B-plotline. The answer is yes, they will get some time devoted to them.
Another reason is I don't want to be mean to my proofreaders. They are already helping me a lot with this story, and I don't want to drop a 7,000-word chapter into their laps for them to proofread.
Now, as for chapter 14, the initial draft is 90% done. It will be out hopefully by Monday, June 29. It would be out sooner but I have work tomorrow, my best friend is getting married on Saturday, and my brother's birthday is on Sunday. But June 29 at the earliest and July 2 at the latest.
