Well, folks... some time ago I mentioned that there was a project to produce a voice-acted version of the first few chapters of Rise of Firefly. The project is nearing completion, and the first teaser trailer has just been released:
He's put a hell of a lot of work in on this, so give him a like and drop a comment if you can.
As for myself, though I'm working on Nightmare Night at the moment, I haven't forgotten about Firefly. DB's guest chapter is already ten pages long in google docs, and it's looking good so far. And when I resume work?
The next chapter will introduce yet another character not yet heard from: this era's Prince Blueblood, who is part of an unbroken line of Bluebloods to the present day.
To this point, I've depicted the Prince several different ways in my stories, both favorably and unfavorably. In Five Star Service, he was reformed by his experiences with humanity and became their greatest proponent, possessing a sharp wit and an open wallet with no patience for social justice idiocy. In Turnabout Storm, he was implied to be scheming and selfish, interested only in amassing power and improving his station. In Nightmare Night... well, he got exactly what he deserved. 
But here in Firefly? I've spoilered the following paragraph in case you don't want to know:
This depiction will be much different than any I've done so far. I do have plans for him, and you'll start getting a sense of him here--cold and cunning and completely unflinching. In time, he'll become a calculating and completely ruthless commander; an utterly implacable foe whom the gryphons do not like facing.

I dropped in a like but no comment. I do not comment on Youtube. So glad to hear it's finally coming! We've been talking about this project for quite some time and learning it's actually going to happen is a huge thing to look forward to!
