In memoriam... · 4:39pm May 31st

Dear my followers,

It is solumn duty to report that Michael Angelis has passed away at the age of 76. Whilst he made his big break on Boys from the Black Stuff, most of you will know him as the longest serving narrator of Thomas and Friends, a role he performed from 1991 to 2012.

This is A Scarf for Percy, the very first episode he narrated;

But I personally think that his best narration was Thomas and the Jet Engine;

Rest in Peace, Michael Angelis. May you make it to the Magical Land where Dreams come True.

Rest In Peace indeed...

He will be missed.

Uh..... he passed away at the age of 68, not 76. Some sources might be getting that a little off. ^^;

According to the BBC, he was 76.

Rest in Peace, our dear friend

That's not what his page on the TTTE wiki or his Wikipedia article says..... ^^; :twilightsheepish:

Though in the coming days, we will find out which is the correct age he died: 68 or 76. :P

I'll update when we have a confirmation.

Farewell mr. angelis. There will never be a narrator like you again.

What is his accent? I've heard a few, thanks to some media coming over here, but this one... knowing it will be Really Useful for me. I think it's the same one the Penguin had in the Arkhamverse, but I can't identify it...
