Writing Fallout: Equestria is like:
Places gun over fireplace. "Perfect!"
"Now, this will needto go off by the third act, so..."
Gun: BANG
"Oh! You startled me!"
Gun: BANG BANG BANG
"Setup/payoff is a bit more satisfying if you delay it a bit, darling."
Gun: BANG
"It's good that you're trying. That's what's really important."
Gun: BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG
"This is getting a bit excessive! Will you please stop?"
Gun:
"Thank you. Now, what other details should I establish early on?"
Gun: reloads
Gun: BANG
"I cannot work under these conditions!"
Unrelated: I am very open about wtiring fanfic, and very excited about my FoE story. But people who don't know thier brony history -- IE almost everybody -- don't know about one of the best novels ever written and wouldn't understand it if they did.
So they're all: "Now did you write Fallout: Equestria?"
And I'm all: "I WISH I DID."
I tried writing a Fallout: Equestria story once, but I got so caught up in having fun with the game mechanics that I never really fleshed out the actual story.

Yup. There's a reason these things are usually obscenely long.
I'd really like to go back and rewrite my FoE story to be better.
Then again, I'd rather write one of the two long stories I've had ready for the past 6 years. <.<

Which one was that? You've written 86 stories?!
I guess there's enough MLP fanfic to keep me from having to read a "serious" book until the day I die, if I'm so inclined.

That's my plan! :D
I think it's called "Aegis"? Don't read it though, it needs work. c.c
