Happy Birthday, Andrew Francis · 4:23am May 27th, 2020

Today is Andrew Francis' birthday. He is the talented man who voiced Shining Armor, and a few minor reoccurring or side characters throughout the show. This included briefly voicing Nightlight when the character first spoke on-screen at the end of "The Crystalling, Part 2".

Andrew actually got his start voice acting when he was a teenager, most noticeably with the titular character in Mega Man EX (based on the GBA Mega Man Battle Network games) and Ice Man starting in Season 2 of X-Men: Evolution.

Happy birthday, Andrew. You were the absolute best choice to voice Shining Armor, and I'm glad that Season 9 gave him one final appearance to be remembered by.

Happy B-Day, Andrew Francis! You're one of my favorite voice actors, and the reason I fell in love with Shining Armor more than any other pony in the show.
