Behind the Scenes: Donation Drive · 3:56pm May 19th, 2020
Hello everyone who stumbles on this page, and/or gets notified of this! I'm still new to the whole "tag a story with a blog" thing so I'm not sure who'll see this. Anyway, thought I'd share some interesting facts about the story that I didn't want to leave in an A/N or comment, since those seem so tacky.
- The story wasn't originally in second person, but this came about when I hit a severe writer's block trying to focus on both parties at once, especially who the stallion would be. Eventually I decided making it a reader insert would be the best choice, as well as concealing Ginger Snap's motivation and knowledge until I possibly revisit her in a later story.
- This story also wasn't the one I intended to publish first, if only because the one I'd finished prior is now a two-chapter story, albeit being written very slowly compared to its initial 7K words.
- This story is also the first time I've written full-on clop with absolutely no holding back on sex words. I used to be one of those writers who used "rod", "love tunnel", etc. I do understand why people use those; sometimes they're more elegant and can fit the tone in something more romantic. But when we're talking intimacy down a quiet alleyway with a filly...yeah, it's crude. Crude words fit best, IMO.
- And a bit of a tidbit: not actually my first foalcon, as alluded to in the second bullet point. But nonetheless, it's the first published, so...there ya' go.
That's about all I can think of. But to my literally 3 followers who kept following me this whole time...hope you enjoy, same as everyone else! This story was fun to write, even if it's unconventionally in second person and no doubt needs improvement somewhere. I hope to temper my writing voice more as I keep doing it.

I might be planning a sequel story, albeit not in second person and centered on a different pony. But I'm gonna pad in between with a cute story or two before returning to lewds, in all likelihood. We'll see.
