My Boss was totally being unreasonable on Friday.
We only work till 11 A.M. and I'm usually given a quota of like four bundles to meet.
He gave myself and my workforce seven to meet.
I had to stay later and keep several people on overtime.
Not only that, he complained to my stackers that the boards weren't straight.
They were packaged to us from the upstate facility, and had a bit of a curve to them.
So he walked to me and explained that I should really look into making sure my workmates made sure the curved boards were straight. He went on and on for like thirty minutes, as if I were a Wood Bender Avatar.
I remember just walking around agreeing to everything he said, as he followed like an annoying little puppy.
In reality I was totes playing my favorite songs in my head.
Lol, I swear he only gripes at me and my crew.
And it's over things which can't be improved.
I just think he enjoys griping.
I find that for most idiot bosses, their biggest weaknesses are facts. I'm not sure what bundles you and your fellow employees are making, but if your boss is complaining about the boards being warped, just tell him/her simply that you don't make the boards, they're shipped from upstate. I'm assuming they're a lousy boss if he/she doesn't even know what it is his/her employees are actually supposed to be doing, so telling them the cold, hard truth might just throw them off enough to get off your back.
(P.S if this kind of thing happens a lot, there are actually legal actions you can take. I'm no lawyer, just a construction worker, but I know enough that there are laws protecting your rights and privileges as a working individual.

He just seems to grips specifically at me alot.
I'm trying my best to stay ahead but he constantly just asks dumb stuff of me, on Friday we were packaging tiny boards, which were 48 high and 13 wide. On the other end were massive boards, which were shipped curved, those were the ones he had griped about. Those huge boards were no joke, 16 high and 12 wide.
But are like the length of a living room.
The guys that were packing those, didn't need to be told to straighten boards that really couldn't.
Not at least every board he was asking.
Idk, I just feel he singles me out for some reason.

I'm starting to take up that mindset.
My boss just sits in his office all day throwing orders around.
Which is ok it's his job, but then he'll spend like two hours griping at me mostly about really odd or dumb things.
If my stepdad heard that much griping, he would've slapped him silly
