    Hello, how are you?

    It's so typical of me to talk about myself, I'm sorry. I hope that you're well.

    10 months since I last blogged. Shall I catch you up a little?

    It's been a long December and there's reason to believe...

    Maybe this year will be better than the last.

    I'd say more, but let's not tempt fate, she seems to be having a rough year too.

    Have you voted yet?

    This isn't an endorsement, I have no facts and figures to offer you, no scandals to mention. I'll just say that this election may well be the most noteworthy in quite some time for the turnout, and early voting is still happening tomorrow. If you mailed yours in, check to make sure it was received. If it wasn't, there is still time to vote in person and cancel the mail in. No matter how you do

    Hello out there

    It's been a long while, sorry for the radio silence. I've... been going through some life issues of late. Long time readers and followers might remember my wife has had some medical problems in the past... and well...

    What have you been up to during the apocalypse?

    I'm deemed essential, so... been kinda busy, more than a little stressed, but even if I have taken a little bit of time off from my main series, I still love working on a project. A while back I had an idea inspired by an image that I can't link to you, and it would not let me forget it. I knew exactly what was going on in that image, and had a scene and backstory written out in an afternoon.

Several months later, an author I follow, TittySparkles, mentioned she'd be interested in story prompts, and I PM'd her to ask if she'd be interested in a collaboration.

And here we are.

I can't link you the result, but if you're interested, story/468349/the-joke it's easy enough to find. Happy reading. And watch this space, I will return soon.

Slowly getting my life back together from well before 'pandemic' was a word we were sick of hearing. Finally feeling like I'm on the right track, at least, but also enjoying the global excuse to avoid looking for a real job. >.>;

Right there with you, man. This emergency just means my government finally gives a damn about people like myself who are normally just ignored. I'm using the funds to catch up, and I'll gladly take whatever they decide to give us.

Finals aren't waiting for apocalypse to end. It's not fun. But at least it won't last much longer.

Plotting how to build my giant death ray on the moon.
