Okay, wow… I… You… Wow, we’re passing goals that I never thought I’d even touch. Like, 500 likes was a small fantasy that I didn’t think was possible, and yet, I’m looking at the numbers. Honestly, thank you all so much for your likes, long comment discussions, and the two pieces of artwork I got for the story. Seriously, I never thought any of this would happen. I’m glad so many of you are enjoying my story so far, and I’m hopeful that I can continue to make chapters that you enjoy reading.
So, I guess another Q&A is in order as thanks. Leave any questions you have in the comments and I’ll get to them. Oh, and I should mention that for the next week or so I’m going to focus on getting more buffer chapters in. I’m not sure how long it will be until the next chapter is out, but I’ll try to knock out the next few chapters as quickly as possible.

Phantom nose itch.... I'm going to go with a strong maybe on that one. As for the cast of council members,
General Cannon Fodder.
-A crimson colored stallion with golden colored irises, and a silver colored mane that is cut like most army generals. A small amount of stubble covers his muzzle, giving him a more aged and serious look than other ponies. His cutie mark is a white flag which he tries his best to hide by wearing his armor since most ponies interpret it as meaning he's a coward who surrenders often. His character was heavily inspired by Sarge from RVB, though it was only his design that I took inspiration from.
Emerald Secret, Royal Advisor.
-A green coated pony with emerald colored eyes and a raven black mane combed back and braided into a beautiful half updo. For her cutie mark, I intended to have the question mark directly inside the magnifying glass, but I prefer your interpretation with the pair of question marks on each side of it. Also, her character design was inspired by Filly Anon. Try getting that out of your head. Don't expect her to act the way that character did. Once again, I just used that character as an inspiration for Emerald's design.
Copper Plate, Royal Archives Master/Head of the Royal Archives.
-An old mare with lavender fur, a graying mane, and a pair of thick brim glasses that help her see. Unlike most of the council members, she's worked under Princess Amore for over two dozen years. While she certainly isn't as old as granny smith, she does have a few wrinkles under her eyes and she has years of wisdom to impart on others. Her cutie mark is a simple raven's quill on the top part of a snowflake, replacing one of the branching patterns on the snowflake with a writing implement to show her love of the Crystal Empire's history and her devotion to writing.
Avid Value, Royal Banker.
-The youngest stallion on the council by five years, Avid Value is a dark brown coated stallion with a black mane that could be confused with charcoal. His dark brown eyes and long hair tell the story of a young stallion that is unused to having power or responsibility, coming from a modest home and working his way up to being the previous Royal Banker's apprentice until the last Royal Banker was killed by Sombra. Avid Value's cutie mark is three differently sized stacks of gold coins, creating a tower of bits to show his interest in Emprie bits.
Crumb Catcher, Royal Spy Master/Head of Staff
-Arguably one of the largest members of the council, standing two heads taller than Avid Value and a half head taller than Cannon Fodder, the royal spy master wears a black tuxedo at all times to show his position of power and the benefits his position entitles him to. His blue coat of fur is slightly lighter than his aqua blue mane and tail, the former of which is combed back and trimmed to give it a sleek look. His Cutie mark is a diamond encrusted hand mirror, representing his egotistical love of himself and the ability to look at things from other points of view.

This was an inevitable question that I had to think long and hard about when I was writing those chapters, and something that I heavily debated including since I knew it would divide a lot of people. Firstly, I want to state that I fully support anyone who seeks a romantic or even just a sexual partner that is the same gender and of consenting age. If you love someone and they’re legally able to love you back, full power to you. In fact, you could say that you, “Have the Power!”
Secondly, I want to make it clear that Princess Amore’s decision was not based on malicious intent. Yes, while her choice was repugnant by today’s standards, it was normal in her era. Does that make what she did right? Fuck no, what she did was disgusting and would be considered downright evil if she pulled it in modern society. But, it wasn’t homophobia, it was just blatant ignorance as to how magic really works. If humans didn’t know anything about cells, dna, and basic human biology back in our medieval era, then I doubted that ponies would understand it entirely 3,000 years before the show. Just like medicine, they didn’t really understand magic that well. They knew “magic go through horn,” and “feel funny after spell,” and that was pretty much it. Their logic was flawed because they didn’t understand it back then.
The decision to have the princess’ morals questioned by the readers was an attempt to show that she was from another time and that she wasn’t infallible. In many ways, she was just a pony who thought she understood magic when, in truth, she only knew as much as the best unicorns and ruvas did, which won’t be much compared to modern Equestria. Hell, Trixie will know more about magic than the best of Ruvas did. Everything from Princess Amore’s time is outdated, but to them, their own words and actions made sense.
Take Earth for example, over 1,000 years ago, humans thought that the stars were just the parts of the sky people were looking at during the night. They also believed that the reason why no one saw a dragon was because not enough people were looking at dragons. Sound stupid to you? Well, that’s how people back then thought. But if you asked a literal child today what the stars were, you could almost guarantee that they would give a more intelligible answer than, “They're the holes in the sky caused by people looking up when most people are asleep. The reason why we have night is because not enough people are looking up at the sky, so it disappears when people go to sleep.”
To reiterate, her actions weren’t because, “Boy, do I sure not like them queers” but rather, “I don’t know if the magical auras of two stallions and two mares should touch because they don’t make pretty colors around a mare’s womb.”

I don't know much about any of that stuff, so don't expect him to. I already pulled the "I learned that in school when no reasonable person on earth would learn it in school" card with how he magically knew the key components of making steel. Modern day Equestria will be able to help the Empire advance, but don't expect Skeletor to suddenly start building toasters in his basement.
