Hmm so I have been meaning to do this for a while, maybe fill it up with obnoxious animated memes and so forth. But I could never find the time.
And then the fire nation attacked my team was cut to outsource to India. Oh the joys of capitalism, anything to make a buck in the middle of a pandemic.
So I'm going to do what I do best and ignore real life and just let things work themselves out. As far as I'm concerned it's still November 7th 2016, and before anyone runs off I'm not trying to attack your world views or anything. The fact you voted the way you did (or did not) is indictment enough. Plus, it'd be misdirected anger. It's not like you voted to lay me off. If I find out who did however, I would have some strongly worded fan fiction for them.
Anyhow I'm not too worried and I don't really have to much to share right now. I mean, clearly my writing days are behind me but everytime I say "never" some shit happens so who knows? I really do not look forward to trying to "adapt" my stories to the last seasons of MLP (all the school of friendship stuff). I still have some desire to deliver at least a minimal amount of closure. I still regret a lot of story choices I made. But hey, live and learn, then learn again, and again, and a again, and I swear to god the next time I get interviewed for a Java position and get asked if I know Python I'm going to wind up on the evening news.
I totally had some point to all this though, why else would I pop up twice a year? Beats me. Things will work out since I'm under contract, I should get a new job soon. Until I do I'm going to be on a zero-hour contract which, let me tell you, I'd rather blow an eskimo and have my tongue get frozen stuck then let a company illegally avoid unemployment compensation.
Pointless ravings of a mad man aside though, everyone stay safe during the pandemic. You do you but try not to harm others. 2% of 300 million is 6 million fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, and friends that will die if we can't go without a hair cut long enough to flatten the curve and develop a vaccine.
Aside from that, check out Clone Wars, Rebels, and Mandolorian I guess? They really make up for the Sequel Trilogy. Check back in a month or so and maybe unemployeed me will be writing to stave off the depression as I did back in the glory years. I for one look forward to therapeutic cynicism and I may need it more than ever November 9th.
I think now that the entire sequel trilogy is out, in time I think people will some to realize that Ep 8 is the strongest of the movies that were released in the new trilogy.
While I'm not going to let the facts get in the way of a good pun, "biannual" means the opposite of what you think it means. And doesn't require the hyphen if my spellcheck is any indication.

Good luck getting a new job! If you keep sight of a few goals, set a schedule and work on them, you'll accomplish something. I personally suck at keeping to goals, but the few times I've been able to do so good things have happened.
i hope that someday you make one of these life updates and nothing but good things happened to you, but i guess that's life.
Hello! I am sorry things are tough right now and I do hope they get better soon but I just want to comment to suggest that if you do decide to get back into writing as you said in this blog that you go back and work on Twilight's Dollhouse 2. I know it is one of your oldest stories but personally, the first Twilight's Dollhouse was probably one of my favorite grimdarks within the fandom. The only thing that has kept me from reading the sequel is the fact that it is incomplete i also am just getting finished with reading the first Twilight's Dollhouse to my girlfriend who was the one who suggested I make this reply to let you know we love the fic and would love to see a revival of the sequel.
