Hello, everyone. I know you all have been wondering where I've been. I kinda just fell off the face of the Earth after promising you all an update and a sequel. I want to make this post to apologize to all of you. When I first began writing this story, I jumped in headfirst with little more than an idea, and a drive to write. Literally, I didn't even know how to write, as is clearly evident in my earlier chapters. I pushed myself too far trying to write too much too fast and didn't even take the time to stop and plan everything out like I now know I should have done from the beginning. This all led to exactly where you all might think: creative burnout. This, on top of some family issues that started to get worse and worse around that time, caused me to just give up on it. I did the one thing that I told myself I would never do as a writer, and I abandoned you all. I hated it when I would see a good story that never got finished, and I didn't understand how authors could do that to their readers. Now, I wonder how some authors avoid it. I want to apologize for that and tell you all not to get your hopes up for a sequel. I might have a few months now, and I will work on it if I get the drive to, but I won't post anything until I have the entire story written, if I ever even get there. I've got a lot that is coming up within the next year, and I don't want to start something again, only to leave it unfinished. I want to say thank you to everyone that has stuck with me through all of my B.S. It means more to me than any of you know.
Until next time,

Thank you for a great story you made, it was real enjoyable.
At least you actually finished the story which is more than can be said for quite a few authors out there, and for that congratulations and thank you for such an entertaining story.
Damn, human limits are rough. I enjoyed your story way more than I expected. For all the little things that weren't quite fleshed out enough, the solidity and originality of your story concept carried it through very well. I would love to read that sequel, and hope that it comes to be.
