It's one thing to create/throw already-established characters in a story of some kind. It's another thing to develop those characters, regardless of the situation they're in.

    Made A DA Alternative

I now has an Inkblot, but because I tagged it NSFW in setting up the account and making it visible, I don't think I can link it. However, it uses the same username as the one I run here. That being said, while I can take commissions over there too, I'm still in the protracted process of slowly moving my art from DA to there, due to the AIpocalypse.

    Request FAQ!

So I said I'd be doing this thing, and by Godcat, Faust, and the Sweet Creator I'm doing it. For starters, requests will be separate from commissions, in that I can do these when I have nothing better to do, however there will be some caveats as to what I can and cannot do. That being said, the will nots of my commission FAQ (fetish art and/or Displaced-related) and such will apply here,

    Merry Christmas! (+IRL Update)

So, last month, I'd landed another job. Far, far more chill than the previous two put together, in regards to both peopling and the alloted tasks for the day. Paid weekly, all that jazz, even if it's only two shifts per week (though I can offset this a little by taking up offered shifts for other people using a phone app, yey.) In addition, I completed a 100$ commission a few weeks ago, for a

    So... (IRL update)

If you're all wondering why I've seemingly disappeared off the face of the planet, several things happened in quick succession, starting a few months ago. In brief:

Happy Belated New Year! (Plus Avatar Update)

In case you guys are wondering what this is about, let's just say I've been playing the new Pokemon games as of late, and this picture was somewhat influenced by that. Gamefreak, when are you gonna bring back the crystal Onix?

IRL Updoot: The Updooting · 10:55pm May 8th, 2020

So Grandpa had to be hospitalized: long story short, his blood sugar tanked for the third time, causing Amber to freak out (we had only swapped two days before, and his blood sugar dropped to the 50's twice during my two weeks), and this time he was unresponsive. Ambulance was called, and the hospital stabilized him. This time they figured out what was wrong: pneumonia. So they're keeping him for a couple of days, just to make sure that's sorted out.

And I got sick this morning, yay. How I won't say, in case any of y'all are eating and reading this, but let's just say it involved the bathroom and leave it there.

Also got laid off, officially, due to corona. Back to jobhunting, and I'm keeping to the essential gigs that I can still access (janitorial, cashier, etc). It was on amicable terms, and I was warned a week in advance, so no hard feelings there. Updated my resume to reflect it, though. GG, got some polishing of my cleaning, listening, and socialization skills at least, and the stress testing necessary to handle the church rushes and my emotions overall. :) On that note, I'm more free to do commissions (FAQ has been updated), at least until I land another gig.

Well...that's quite a bit of an updoot. I hope your Grandpa get's better and you get an essential job soon, with all the things going on right now, a job is very necessary, even if I still think Fast Food(my current job) isn't entirely an 'Essential Job' like Medical or Store related jobs

Goodness. I will pray for your grandfather and hope you get a good job

5258580 He freaked out my sister though; she called Raven screaming her head off before the ambulance.

Look at it this way.
People who can't or don't have time to cook can get food. Doctors running thirty two hour shifts, nurses who haven't slept in a week, etc.
For you and me(Grocery) it's providing for vulnerable people. As well as a semblance of normalcy. Think of the Waffle House Index used by FEMA to rate tropical storms. Society still stands and the world still turns as long as the Golden Arches are lit.

I kinda freaked out when my father had bad moments with his oxygen

You know, I completely forgot that Waffle House had it's own Index. But I do understand that people need food, the amount of food per person is a little silly. Even if they are ordering for maybe more than themselves they are ordering a tad too much
