    This is my birthday song.
    It is not very long.
    In Fact.
    It's short.

And I'm now 42 and still loving ponies. One of you bring me a towel. A towel that's pink, blue, and white. Never forget a towel.

On May 31 Something Amazing Happened.

It was the Ten Year Anniversary of the My Little Heartbreak Series. I know I have been slow with updates and what have you, but life is life alas. However, I am going to attempt to do something special for it. A large drawing of all the OC Characters that have featured in the whole series!

(Maybe even a few characters that are yet to come...)

Alternate Hearts: Splinteredheart · 3:52am May 8th, 2020

I've been bundling these in groups of five or six, but this alternate version of Heartbreak has a whole eight page sequence to her name. Keep in mind that I created Splintered before I knew anything about any form of were-timberwolf related stories in the canon.
It happens sometimes, ya know, great minds and convergent creative thinking can indeed lead to similar results.

But... Ho-boy... Splinteredheart... woe tis her tale, for you see, she was a late blooming werewolf who went through first change while traveling to equestria...
But, alas! There aren't any werewolves in equestria!
Well colts, fillies, and transformation enthusiasts... let's find out what happens to Splinteredheart once a month and why she doesn't recall the reason why she wakes up on her front porch...

The moon! The moon! The cursed moon! What is this feeling!? What is this pain!? It pulls at her driving her insane!

IT pulls Us!!! It TWISTS Us!!!

WHAT THE HAMMER!? WHAT THE CHAIN!? IN WHAT FURNACE WAS THY BRAIN!?

WHAT THE ANVIL!? WHAT DREAD GRASP, DARE ITS DEADLY TERRORS CLASP!?

When the stars threw down their spears and water'd heaven with their tears;
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?

Tyger, Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye...

Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

Poor Splinteredheart, deep down, she knows something is wrong, but she doesn't know what it is....

There exist rumors of a big timberwolf, full of sorrow, and it only appears on the nights of full moons, or when Luna eats too much. It has been sighted at local outdoor lumberyards, appearing to cry and grieve amongst the 2x4's and deck boards. Staff at the lumberyard are upset at having to clean up the sticky sap tears left on the ground the morning after.

Later on, when SplinteredHeart has more control, she could recite an ominous line before going for a walk: When all hope is lost, undo this lock, and send me forth on a moonlit walk.

Oh, it gets better... See because she's a werewolf based on the WtA games, she gets gifts! Fancy powers that if ever she learned to control her shapeshifting or the like would benefit her greatly!
Things like finding water, navigating the forests, self-healing, healing others, not having to eat for long periods of time, helping gardens grow, growing armor, growing vines to use as whips, or thorns to use as weapons, being able to fall apart and reassemble, or even using the very greenery of the everfree forest as a means to teleport to other places!

But yes... as it stands, sappy tears, a rumor of a massive Timberwolf howling over the planks and 2x4's are whispered amongst the lumber ponies...
