The contest's poll is now active! · 7:54am May 6th, 2020

Dirty Little Secret's Dirty Little Contest
It’s time for all of you to decide who wins the Crowd Pleaser and Public Shaming prizes! ^.^
Find the poll here.
Instructions and details are on the poll’s description. You’ll need a Google account in order to vote -- that helps ensure that everyone only votes once, without forcing me to collect usernames or email addresses. It also allows you to come back and change your vote any time you want, up until the voting deadline of midnight, June 6th.

Here’s an easy link to the eligible stories, if you’d like an easier way to find them -- and a way that tells you more than just a title and a link to the story.

Yes, authors, you can vote, including voting for your own story!
You can also make blog posts or whatever to tell your followers to go vote as well ... but DO NOT tell your followers which story to vote on -- we don’t want a popular author’s army of followers to unfairly sway the poll.

This will be your only reminder to go vote -- so make sure you don’t forget! Take the time to read a story or two right now, why not, and then vote for or against them in the poll! Pick a few that tickle your fancies, or just let the poll decide which stories to read -- it will give you the options in a random order, so just picking the first few in the poll’s list will give you a random selection of stories to read and vote on!

Man, that's a ton of stories.

Just a heads up, it might be too late now but you should be aware that You're Educational First Time shows up on the poll even though it has been moved into the rejected folder of the contest.

Luckily, you don’t need to read all of them in order to vote, even just a few is fine. ^.^

Yeah ... the poll was put together before that story was eliminated. I don’t think I’m going to worry about it too much, because there very well might be more stories that suffer the same fate before the poll is over. (There’s already one other story where the author is thinking about withdrawing it from the contest for some reason.)
If one of those stories happens to win/lose the poll, it will just be ignored and the next highest/lowest story will win that prize.
