    I finally did it

I have been planning on upgrading my desktop PC for years now and I finally did it. This was the 2nd PC I have built now. I also upgraded the monitor and the keyboard. This keyboard especially is a pleasure to type with. Could it result on writing more? Who knows. I sure hope so. It's been a while since I actually wrote anything. The sequel is still in chapter 8 and I have no plans on continuing

    Here we go again

Today has been one of those days when the universe thinks that hey, this guy has been doing okay for a while. Why don't we show him what we think about that?

Yeah... Today was definitely not my day. Not that the day is over just yet. If only I could get some sleep. Hah... Fat chance.

"Anti-Mary Sue" or "reverse Mary Sue" characters in movies and series *rant*

Okay... This has been bugging me for a while now. Ever since the quarantine and stuff started, I have been watching a lot of movie and series. Usually, I watch some action movies, where a revenge or wiping out a criminal organization is pretty much the whole plot and I have usually liked them... Until the end.

    A good day

Today was a good day. Exceptionally good, even. I listened to some epic music, watched some of my favorite series and ate some yummy food. I feel happy for the longest time and it was all because of simple things in life.

    Waking up

Okay, So you go to bed at regular time, maybe little earlier or later than usual, doesn't matter. Maybe you see dreams too, those are always nice. But then, at some point, you wake up too early. It's not even past 6:00 yet, on a Sunday morning. And you get that feeling. Despite of how much you may need a few more hours of sleep, your brain simply won't let you. It feels like your brain are going

It feels like your brain are going with a speed of light, thinking something completely meaningless. No matter how hard you try, you can't shut off your brain. You may even feel really tired otherwise, but you know you won't get any more sleep.

That ever happened to you? And if so, how do you deal with it?

Myself, I'm not the type who could just fall back asleep later. I just have to start my day earlier. And I feel tired. Maybe at some point, I will take a short nap if I have the chance. Do you know what I was thinking this morning? An episode from the show called Science of Stupid. There was this giant acrobatic wheel which name I couldn't quite remember. I tried to neglect the thought and sleep, but I just couldn't stop thinking about it. Maybe it was called this or that... And I had to get up and Google it. Yeah. It was called Wheel of Cyr, or Cyr wheel. Thanks brain... Never knew I needed to know that at 5am. And Now I'm fully awake.

Well, time to play some Animal Crossing then.

It happens to me from time to time - especially after I drank some booze/beer the night before. But, ironically, when it happens, I usually feel well-rested and refreshed, despite the low number of sleep hours.

If it's a working day, then I just start my job sooner and end it sooner (flexible job hours + remote work), if it's weekend, I go grab a cup of coffee and starts reading some crap or playing games, or something.

If I try staying in bed, then I usually end up very tired later on.

Interesting. I have yet to figure out what may cause it, but fortunately, it doesn't happen very often. And it always seems go be something from several months ago.

Same with me. If I try staying in bed I will get really tired and usually end up with a nasty headache.
