New Story off to Betas · 10:17pm May 2nd, 2020
New story is completely drafted and off to my beta readers! (Well, technically the draft was completed and the story was sent to betas a day or so ago, but I hadn't gotten around to writing this blog post until now.) Woohoo! Tentatively expecting to receive all beta comments, make edits, and publish within 2 weeks. I think you Lunaverse fans are going to enjoy this one.
Feels good to get back into fan fiction... I'll have to try and write it more often.
Awesome, I'm looking forward to it.
One quick question though. You make it sound like you wrote the entire thing as opposed to a chapter. Does that mean this is a one-shot, or am I misunderstanding you?

It's 5 chapters long plus an epilogue, at about 38,000 words. All chapters + epilogue are entirely written (except for edits based on beta comments, and perhaps a little polishing).
I usually write out my stories entirely before I post the first chapter. I find when I try writing and posting as I go, I get stressed if a chapter takes longer than I thought because I feel like I'm leaving people hanging.

Long time no see.

Ah, that makes sense, and it definitely has a lot of advantages since you can also go back and make edits at the beginning to shore up continuity without issue so no complaints there. I'll make sure to remember that any thoughts for improvements I may have while reading can't really be implemented.

Well, I can still edit the story once it's live if something serious comes up. That's what I wound up doing with JULP. And I'm always happy to receive feedback. :-)

Fair, and I'll keep that in mind when you publish too.

...Well, so much for that.
