So on Friday, nearly every woman walked out from my workplace.
With all the craziness going on, they felt that self quarantine was the best course of action.
Anyways that left myself and two other women on the floor, to my surprise I was actually promoted in position. I'm now like right under my supervisor, I was even put in charge of my division on Friday to close up and control operations.
It was trippy, but I really liked it.
It has been a while since I was back in a power position, it's like riding a bicycle and everything is coming back to me.
I got a raise and now get paid weekly, which is a total plus in my book.
I have tons of plans for my future now, though I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous.
Running this place isn't like directing a bunch of teens, like my old job.
These are adults and grumpy peeps.
Lol, I just don't want to be seen as the mean Boss Lady.
Kinda like everybody See's our current supervisor.

Most because the area right next to us had a few cases of covid, nearly all the women walked out and a few men.
i think a few ladies were just fed up though.

Anyways if I had to guess why more women quit, I'd say most of the women were older.
That and they had families, so if the outbreak was quite close, I'd say maybe they were scared that if they were infected they might spread it to their families.
