THe Seed of Hope and Small Update

Hello my dear readers once more, been a long time hasn't it? I do apologize for this a lot has been going on in my life not just with the current global situation but also with hardware as I some how broke the keyboard for my tablet and the built in keyboard was not the best for writing on top of the fact I'm an essential worker and work has been insane.

But enough about me lets get onto the main reason for this Blog.

Despite not having a functioning keyboard I have been helping my good friend Meadow_Dawn write a new fic that is an alternate telling of her OC's origins since that story hasn't been told to completion and the original version wont be finished sadly.

And so we get The Seed of Hope. The altered telling where Dawn meets Princess Dusk Star, the daughter of Celestia and an unknown pony for some time ago and together they must face whatever has been set in motion by the arrival of two people from a different world seemingly by chance. Though we all know there is no such thing as coincidence in Equestria. I'm honestly quite proud of how Dusk Star turned out (I'm the creator and mostly writer for her) as well as her home city of Luminosia where she rules. She is a different sort of mare from The Commander, though similar in way as both are military oriented but unlike The Commander, Princess Dusk Star is rather stoic and struggles in social interaction in that she has no clue how to be subtle and not speak freely, a stark contrast to her mother.

Anyways the fic has several chapters already up and honestly is a great read and I'm proud to be involved with the project and help it be the best we can make it.

But hey don't just listen to me, have a message from the writer herself!

Hey everyone, it's me, Dawn. I'm still really glad to have worked with Scorch on Soldier and Hope, even though there are a few that didn't like that direction, it was a huge writing lesson that i've tried very hard to do better ever since.

So, i'll confess that I love seeing my stories get read, much like anyone, and comments almost literally make my day. If you weren't aware already, I've worked some on Training a Princess - which is currently on haitus till certain things get nailed down - and Dawn the Derby Horse, as sequels to what happens to Dawn after Soldier and hope.

If anyone is interested in what got Dawn going, while I still don't want to continue Mirror of Worlds due to the baggage, an alternate timeline of Dawn's beginnings is available and i'm trying to post relatively frequently. Scorch has been a big help running Dusk Star, a daughter of celestia, and all the characters in Luminosia. If any of you are curious, please, drop by and look, and feel free to leave a comment, even if it's a 'i'd like to see x done better for y reason.'
