Question about my Plot · 2:18pm Apr 18th, 2020
I would like to ask frankly, this question that has been in my mind since my latest chapter. People keep saying that my story has no plot and therefore, it is bad and it's one of the worst stories on here, while I see worse stories being called, 'the best story ever'. How is that possible.
So why does my story not have a plot. I thought it does. The plot starts with yaks coming to try to conquer the human world, which is then revealed that there are more enemies behind the yak invasion, and that was just a front for a greater invasion to come, and John has to stop this threat, so he goes to deal with it. Why is this not a story? I don't get it. I really don't. What does Jakub have in a story that I don't, besides having fewer crossovers? Because that's really it, I was inspired by his story, so I do have a lot of similarities to his, but yet, his story is very well received and mine isn't. Is it just because he has more followers and people sympathize with him more? I don't know. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Should I even continue typing? It's just upsetting when people don't like your stuff, I know how Jakub feels and why he wanted to leave so many times. It really doesn't make sense. Someone logical please come and make sense of it all for me.
That is a really interesting plot for your story. I don't why they say that there isn't one.
