    To anyone who still cares

    Well... hello.

I've been home from my mission for about fifteen months now. It's been fun. Got a girlfriend. Lost a girlfriend. You know. The usual. I've also been catching up on the show and playing tons of videogames. Currently playing Control, Return of the Obra Dinn, and Animal Crossing, New Horizons.

This is a basic run down of the stories I was writing but had never completed and my plans for them before they were cancelled. This is more for me than it is for you. I'll start with the earliest ones and go forward from there.

Pony Island
Don't really know about this one. Every idea I had I threw at the wall until something interested me. I didn't have an end in mind, I just wanted to write something. It was my first story, so I wanted to have fun. After a while, it started becoming harder and harder to write it. Don't know why, but all ideas just stopped. And eventually, I just gave up on the idea.

His Last Wish
I really had no idea where to go with this one. It started out as an idea to have a brony on his death bed go to a "Make a Wish" foundation-like company that can grant actual wishes. The main character wants to meet his favorites ponies, but an anti-brony keeps trying to put a stop to it. The idea of where I was headed has long since left my brain, but I remembering how it ends. After so long of dealing with the antagonist, Sean succumbs to whatever was ailing him and passes away with the ponies he wanted to meet fading from his vision. Some last-minute science helped him prolong his life, but we don't know exactly how until the protagonist wakes up. He's in Equestria, but he's a snail. Don't know what the point was, but that was the idea. I was fourteen at the time, what do you want from me? At the time, I just ran out of ideas on how to continue. That, and feigning interest in the idea prevented me from moving further.
There's an individual who spruced it up all nice named Barrobroadcaster. He's helped a lot of people and is a very stand-up person. Pretty sure he's a he. If not, I'm sorry. There was also a few individuals who helped in other ways.

What We've Done
After so long of plagiarizing creepypastas (explanation found here) I decided to write my own story following some monsters. This was a larger project requiring a lot of OCs from other users. This story was a lot more fun to write. This was the beginning of a grand plan I had to start a little universe around my characters in the pony world. I'll get more into those in a bit.

A brief run-down for context. Xavier Priston, a narcissistic scientist, and Char Gen, a blind test subject turned scientist, cause the end of the world by reaching into an alternate dimension of monsters and bring about the end of Equestria. Their test subjects and other scientists, one named Gaze, all disappeared and later found by the test subject, Aegis Strap. After an experiment that went wrong, he obtained the power to go a short distance back in time and change the outcomes of his decisions. He wakes up in the "Glass House" facility among the wasteland of Equestria after two years.

The events preceding the world-ending event start shortly after Char Gen joins the scientist group. They all have fun and do good, and then a mysterious pony named Glisten Vial comes around and starts making them do strange experiments. Experiments that turn the test subjects into horrifying creatures with strange powers. Glisten Vial was acting under the direction of an entity known as, "The Fly." The Fly has knowledge of where her long-lost son is, and promises that if she'll end the world, she'll get her son back. Which doesn't end up working out, because she ends up getting burned alive by a scientist named Gaze. Her son is still missing to this day. Never thought of a plan for him. The plan here was that one scientist pony, Gaze, turned out to be a changeling named Ghast. He was attempting to destroy the world the fly wouldn't gain control of the world. Either that, or Ghast just wanted to destroy the world for no discernable reason. I'm sure I could have thought of something if given the time. Both Xavier Priston and Char Gen die, and Aegis Strap uses up all of his power to reset the universe back to the point where he goes in for the experiment that gave him his powers. He tries to warn everyone about the future he sees but is deemed a nut case and thrown in an asylum. Glass House facilities shuts down and rebrands itself as an entertainment business with an experimental drug known to the public as "Kingdom." Details were to be released in the future.

I didn't finish this one due to lack of motivation. At the time I was also going through a serious bout with depression that consumed the next few years of my life.

Take the Pain Away
This story was written for a contest in a group that I forget the name of. All I know was that this is a romance story between an original character and Lightning Dust. This was the introduction of a character that a lot of my "big universe" would revolve around. Arkane Vander, yes, really, is a wandering pony that currently is looking into a serial killer that targets mares in several parts in Equestria. His findings lead him to Ponyville, where the killer has been most recently spotted. Arkane is struggling with several issues. For one, Arkane has a voice in his head known as Leider. Leider constantly begs Arkane to let him take control of Arkane's body, but Arkane relents. The last time that happened, Arkane murdered his family of abusers. Except for his brother, Gild Vander. Lightning Dust is also in Ponyville, trying to muster up the courage to apologize to Rainbow Dash for her behavior. Her family is constantly berating her for failing, and she has nowhere else to go or stay. The two meet after a forest fire caused by two ponies running from the serial killer and causing a distraction. Ponyville is put on lockdown in an attempt to keep the serial killer from running away. Arkane and Lightning are forced to stay in the same hotel room and end up falling in love. How cute. The serial killer is also Arkane's brother, Gild. That's all there really was to it, for the most part. There was some set up for future conflict. The evil entity called "the fly" we learned about in What We've Done is working with Gild to find Arkane and steal the power that's within him. Gild can't help but murder people though. Gild with power given to him by the fly, separates Leider and Arkane, making Leider become his own being. Gild is killed by Arkane in a final battle, and Arkane and Lightning fall in love and live together. The fly finds Leider and they become good pals.

I was just lazy. I really liked this idea, but I was super lazy and didn't finish it.

The Lust for Power
This was Arkane's origin story. Arkan is a lonely foal attending Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. He lives with his abusive family, mom and dad, and his brother Gild. He used to have a sister named Glisten, but she was attacked by a monster and vanished, presumed dead. She shows up later in What We've Done as a desperate mother looking to find her son. Her in-between story was going to be explored in a later story. We learn about the history of this Equestria, and find out that Celestia, Luna, and a mysterious third sister were made by humans. The history is hidden away and covered up by Celestia. We learn that Celestia murdered all the humans because she thought that they were a species that had run their course and were now useless. The war between ponies and humans waged for years until Celestia discovered a powerful magic that she dubbed the "Didec." A portion of that power remains in her, and the rest of it was stored away in secret. Arkane hates his life, but all of that changes when he meets Sunset Shimmer escaping Canterlot. She's going to run off to find her uncle so she can live with him. Arkane tags along because he doesn't want to live his life anymore. The two developed a friendship and live with her uncle for a long time. One day, while Arkane is hanging out, he stumbles into a changeling conspiracy to invade Canterlot and is captured by them. While digging around, the changelings find a strange, red knife that Arkane obtains. He's overtaken by the power and wakes up away from changelings in a field. He is taken over by the red power in the knife that he learns in the Didec. He uses that power to take on Celestia, because the red power has developed a mind of its own and hates Celestia. After losing the battle with Celestia, Arkane takes his revenge on if family and murders them all. He travels the land with no purpose in mind. Only freedom.

I planned a sequel for this story, where Arkane Vander finds his way to the Crystal Empire. He meets Reticent (an OC created by a good friend of mine named Orthios. Cool dude, I miss him) a librarian pony who works at "take a wild guess" industries. He encounters a Crystal Pony, I believed named Sisalee, who Reticent takes a liking to. Arkane arrives and attempts to swoon Sisalee. Arkane is a total jerk because of his newfound power and treats Reticent like garbage. Pretty soon, Sombra comes back, attempting to retake the empire, and Reticent and Arkane defeat him. Sisalee chooses to leave with Arkane because she doesn't like living in the empire. Later on, they're hiking up a mountain and try to escape a cave collapse. Arkane's horn breaks while trying to escape and Sisalee is trapped in the cave and is crushed to death. Arkane is sad and wanders around more. The next time we see him is in the events of Take the Pain Away.

Laziness stopped me from writing this one.

The Girl with the Purple Dress
I hyped up a sequel to one of my best stories for a long time. I was working hard on it, but at the time, I was going through a really bad break up that had caused me to consider suicide. I put away the project and never finished it. The plan for this story was that the protagonist and Adagio started to get to know each other after their first encounter. We learn more about these characters and how they're trying to grow and change as people. It's a simple story, but they end up going on a date and become a couple. The protagonist also has magical powers and in an alternate universe, turned Adagio in Adogeio. I capitalized on a tired meme and somehow it became my highest-rated story.

Staying for the Night
I got this idea after watching 10 Cloverfield Lane. The story follows Applejack waking up in a strange house with Arkane Vander. This takes place in the timeline "What We've Done" timeline before Aegis Strap resets the timeline. The house is on a strange plain of existence. She can't leave the yard without being attacked by a giant, crystal lizard. Applejack and Arkane butt heads for a while, and then they find out that at night, shadows of ponies they knew come in and torment Applejack and Arkane in their sleep. Applejack learns that before she was here, there was somebody else there with Arkane. It was Reticent, but he succumbed to the effects of the house and turned into the crystal lizard. Arkane keeps this from her because... I don't know. I think it was because he didn't want her to think that he killed him, but an explanation could have solved that. I'm pretty sure Reticent had a disease that was turning him into a lizard. Later on, Applejack kills Arkane because Arkane turns into a lizard. I forget the exact details I had here, but that's the gist. Applejack, following Arkane's death, hears voices telling her that Applejack needs to give up and release her power. Applejack doesn't know what she's talking about, but apparently Applejack had some of the Didec within her. I don't know how I was going to explain that, but okay. Applejack finds out the name of the voice talking to her. It's Glisten Vial, who is obeying the fly and getting the Didec from Arkane and Applejack. Applejack escapes the house by running real fast and wakes up in a destroyed Equestria.

I stopped writing here because of more laziness. That and I was super depressed and needed time to recuperate and recover.

Mad Love
I wrote this because I wanted to write about Moon Dancer. I loved her from the first time we met her back in season 5. The story follows Xavier Priston and Moon Dancer. This takes place in the timeline where Aegis Strap resets the timeline and is thrown in the loony bin. Xavier is obsessed with this pony who goes to the library every day. He sees her just coming and going. His friend, Char Gen, encourages him to ask her out, but Xavier can't bring himself to do it. Xavier is infected with an unknown disease that makes his hooves shake uncontrollably. He takes pills for it, but it turns out that they're placebos. When he accidentally lets his pills fall in front of Moon Dancer, she points this out to him and he sues his doctor. But after that experience, Xavier is determined to ask her out. We learn more about Xavier's backstory and eventually they get together. But Xavier's time is running out, because the disease is fatal and could kill him at any time.

And that's about it. All of this was going to culminate into the fly taking over Equestria by trapping all the ponies into a giant wall and letting them go crazy. Eventually he's stopped and Equestria has to adjust to this new world of giant walls and dead ponies everywhere. It was my grand master plan that didn't happen. Someday, I hope to rewrite all of these and one day achieve my goal of making a personal universe and include all of my characters. In fact, I'm starting fresh with a brand new story set in that universe. I won't explain it here, and I'm also not going to publish it here. It's going to be an actual novel. Wish me luck on that and thanks for reading.

TL;DR
I wrote a lot of stories and they went unfinished. I stopped writing some due to lack of motivation and ideas, laziness, and depression.
