I have been thinking about Gen 5 lately · 2:19pm Apr 14th, 2020
As well as the future of mlp in general. I can’t help but to wonder how the fandom will be effected when Gen 5 comes out, especially if it ends up being bad. I know that the G4 show will live on in the fans work for a long time to come especially since the comics will continue with season 10. So regardless of what happens we still have the old world to go back to. I really hope that the new and the old can coexist within the fandom instead of Gen 5 trying to replace Gen 4.
I think that my biggest fear is that the fandom will be split in half with one side hating Gen 5 and the other loving it. It would be like what I experienced with Star Wars all over again and I don’t want to see that happening to a series I have only recently grown to love. Equestria still has so much left to offer in terms of stories especially now that the series has ended and its up to us to write and share them.
What are your thoughts about the future of the series? Are you optimistic or do you also worry about what will happen.
