    Sudden Realization

So, I was watching that new MLP: Pony Life show, super cute BTW, and realized something that's been staring me in the face since S1-E1; Tabitha St. Germain is the Tress MacNeille of Ponyville. Seriously, Tabitha was Rarity, Nightmare Moon, Luna, Granny Smith, the new voice of Spike, etc. Tress played just about every background female on The Simpsons, Futurama, and Disenchanted. Don't get me

How to know when you've been trapped inside too long. #6

I saw something online recently that pointed this out and I'm kinda floored by it, we all are living through something that'll go down in history books, and we're all sitting at home, bored out of our minds. We got people risking their lives to protect the rest of us, then we got people throwing Corona parties, thinking that once a person gets it, they're immune forever while the CDC still isn't

Alright, I've come to the conclusion that Equestria is in fact... a slave owning society. Now hear me out, every single animal we've seen throughout the series, even the Equestria Girls series, has been largely intelligent, to the point they can interact with the 'sapient' characters. Owlowiscious showed that he had more forethought than Spike on multiple occasions. Angle Bunny was able to

Okay, so now i'm starting to miss people, and I hate people. I went for a walk, and people are getting off the sidewalk to avoid getting near each other. That's just sad. I've grown bored of 'Minecraft' and 'Astroneer' and have restarted 'Mad Max' for the fifth time. I have also built too many not LEGO sets to be healthy. By the way, if you're a history lover like me, try

What's the deal with the tents near Rarity's house? Are they hers? Are they stylized tool sheds? Was there a festival that run out of town in the middle of the night? What's up with that?

What's the deal with the tents near Rarity's house? Are they hers? Are they stylized tool sheds? Was there a festival that run out of town in the middle of the night? What's up with that?
Also, what happened to her parents? They dropped Sweetie Belle off for a vacation in season 1 and then never came back. On that same track, how old are ponies when they move out? 'Equestria Girls' would have us believe that they are high school age (17-18 years old) and on their own.

While you're cooped up, try this: Phoebe and her Unicorn. It's a cute comic about a girl who finds her very own unicorn to be her best friend.

Sweetie Belle and Rarity's parents, Hondo Flanks and Cookie Crumbles, actually cameo'd in an episode later on after their debut, where they were spending the day with Sweetie Belle during some kind of festival event in Ponyville, and Hondo was seen fishing in the episode where we were introduced to Babs Seed, and it looked like he was doing so near his own house and the viewers zoomed in to see Sweetie Belle talking inside it with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo

They might have had other cameo appearances but I don't recall at this moment

Better questions are; "In Equestria how many years do ponies go to school?", "Is Cheerilee the only teacher in Ponyville?", and "Do all grades share the same classroom since there is only one Schoolhouse we see in Ponyville?".

With regards to Sweetie Belle, remember we don't see everything that happens in Equestria. It took us eight seasons to discover Scootaloo actually lived with her aunts, instead of an orphanage or just plain nowhere. I reckon she's just become something of a latchkey kid with her big sister, given how much she looks up to her, spending time with her after school or on weekends.

As to age, well that opens up a whole other kettle of fish. How long do ponies live, alicorns aside? Granny Smith remembers Ponyville being founded, and based on the town's development and generations, in human terms that would probably put her close to a hundred years old. The whole issue of Equestria Girls and high school can be waved away as Hasbro executive meddling, but in human terms, I'd say they're probably in their early twenties at the start of the show, or at least their equivalent depending on ponies' lifespans.

The tent, if I remember correctly, at least one of them, is a practical joke shop that showed up way back in Season 1 when Dash and Pinkie had their pranks war. So that covers one of them.

Another question for you, who in their right mind places their home and capital city on the side of a literal mountain, and why hasn't it slid down yet, particularly in light of the severe structural damage the place has suffered over the years? I mean, at this point the castle has been blown up twice.

In fairness, one-room school houses were fairly common for centuries. Kids of different ages would all learn from the same teacher at the same time at differing levels. I don't know how they did it, but they did. Although that is not what we're led to believe here.

Wow. Well spotted.
