A decision regarding the future of Pony-Me and Into Equestria: · 9:33pm Apr 1st, 2020

I will put Into Equestria on an indefinite hiatus for the time being. Maybe I'll figure out what the heck I want the story to be to me someday, or maybe I'll even rewrite the thing a second time. The fact stands that I have no direction for the future of the series, save for the original fiction adaptation that I've continuously set aside now to try and shoehorn my way through Into Equestria. I'll be working on that instead of Pony-Me's sequel from now on.

As for the story itself, Into Equestria has one last, incomplete chapter that has yet to be published. I've been stuck on writing chapter 9 since the beginning of March, and I only have 600-something odd words to show for it. Really, the most I can say about this whole predicament is that ironically, it looks like the Pony-Me series is about to die the same way that it killed off its predecessor series, the Lab Horse series; both ended not with a bang, but a whimper. The pre-reboot Lab Horse series was, just like the Pony-Me series, an old passion project. In both cases, in the peaks of their respective series, I told myself that I didn't ever want to stop writing for their story universes. It's time I finally stop telling myself that for Pony-Me's universe.

Back then in the Lab Horse series' heyday, just like now, things began to burn out. The pre-reboot Lab Horse series managed to scrape through to three stories plus a sidestory before it fizzled out. Pony-Me's publishing served essentially as a death sentence for the series, which was quietly axed after a similar series of struggles to write even its shorter chapters. Even now, the post-reboot Lab Horse is no longer meant to be an entire series of stories. It will be just a single story, covering everything I wanted to write in the original series within one set of chapters.

I don't yet have anything to replace Into Equestria, but my plans for my future on Fimfiction will stay more or less the same. I will try and wrap up the rest of my existing stories (Lab Horse: Redux, Wielder of the Orb: Third Time's the Charm, and Worlds Reset) before the year's end, and from there, move on to my Phase 2 story universes.

But hey, maybe we'll see Elise Fairchild again sometime, if I ever decide to give the Pony-Me series the same reboot treatment as Lab Horse.

Is it weird that I just added this to my read later list today and was reading it when you posted this blog? I just finished reading Error 404: Chapter Not Found.

I am now done with Pony-Me(TM) and I finished Into Equestria (Legacy) 'cause it said completed and not cancelled, and I just finished the first chapter of the REAL Into Equestria. I am cursed with Fast Reader Syndrome. *sigh*

well, let's hope we'll get into EQuestria later...Later

Elise Fairchild shall rise again! Someday. I hope. Really. Somehow. :pinkiehappy:
So looking forward to the possible eventual reboot. When it happens. If. Still good. :raritywink:
