Surprise! Not Dead. · 4:16pm Mar 28th, 2020
As stated in the title, I'm no longer dead. Anyway, if you enjoyed the omake from The Moon's Apprentice, it now has a full length story in the works which you can find here: The Moon Victorious.
P.S. No, I still don't intend to write a sequel or an epilogue to The Moon's Apprentice.
This implies, however, that you were dead at some point. How'd you get better?
5230454 Judging by the story, apparently he's an alicorn colt.
But always good to hear he isn't dead, especially in these times.

Wrong gender, but otherwise a plausible theory.

Eh, some ponies caught my cold, lifeless eye, and then as I got sucked back into MLP, its healing magic cured me of my dead status effect. But mostly I realised how much I missed it.
I remember reading The Moon's Apprentice a long, long time ago. Just re-read the omake. And now you got me hooked on this new story of yours. Let's see how it pans out, shall we?
I just binged the entire The Moon's Apprentice.
It's quite impressive.
Have you checked out Sunset's Isekai? It's a wonderful set of stories involving a version of Sunset Shimmer, an interdimensional bar, and many copies of familiar and different people and ponies.
While you said you weren't going to do any kind of official followup to the Moon's Apprentice, what about a moment in a bar with a person she both recognizes and never met? Set before the Summer Sun Celebration, and thus still not answering the big question, the Solar Regent gets to let her elaborately coiffed hair down and be honest with a version of her past self who is an awesome listener, and happens to own a bar. With lots of exceptionally rare alcohol...

That story sounds amazing. I'll have to put it on my watch list.
Otherwise, I don't know. A non-canon crossover between TMV!Twilight and TMA!Twilight sounds fun, but I'm not sure if I'd write such a thing. It's a possibility for the future, I suppose.
“P.S. No, I still don't intend to write a sequel or an epilogue to The Moon's Apprentice.“
That’s a damn shame. I’ve never been so disappointed by a story ending so randomly with so many unresolved issues before :/
5230682 Me neither, except for the ones that get abandoned and never finished at all (poke poke...)

To be honest, I do want to continue writing Seeking Power, but I cringe when I think of many of the narrative choices I made way back then when I was just a wee lass. I'd have to rewrite a good chunk of it entirely to enjoy continuing it at all. I am...not particularly enthused to take on that task. Maybe someday.
5230754 Feels sadly familiar. There're a lot of old projects I really want to finish too (including some ponyfic), but...
Ah, congratulations on your full resurrection! :D
From the description, this new story looks quite interesting. :)
A number of other authors seems to have also decided to update today, and my RPG group's weekly meeting ran especially long, with the result that I don't think I'll get to this today, but it's going on a short list. :)
Welcome back. :)

Ah, hey, Reese. It's been a while. I'm glad to see you're still alive as well.

Aye, and aye, still keeping on. :)
And I was able to read those chapters today after all. :D
Oh, this looks interesting. I'll take a look.
