So... by now, everyone who has followed this situation knows what has happened to me. To those who don't, I accidentally zapped my account because I forgot I requested deletion late December and never realized I didn't undo that request. Because of this, I'm wanting to repost A Slave's Freedom.
Problem is that I'm dumping 28k words into the new story box (only 3,000-4,000 words of it is new if you're an old follower of the fic).
With that being said, I want to bring in new readers, so dumping 28k words is a bit of an issue. My plan is simple: over the next four days, I would release three chapters. So the schedule would look like this:
Day 1:
Mississippi Blues
Doubt
Calm Before the Storm
Day 2:
Grocery
Behind Closed Doors
Bitter
Day 3:
Break 1
Ache
Blood
Day 4:
Break 2
Mercy
The Descent (new!)
Since my story is unrecoverable, all these chapters technically are new content (FimFetch hates me [only the older 1234 version is recoverable, and it's not even the same content]), but for old readers, the last chapter was Mercy. I will note that I had changed some of these older chapters (certain scenes are rewritten for more clarity, and a section about Leo was removed since it was out of place). After all these are posted, I will be updating every so often with a new chapter. I just wanted to be very transparent with what was going on, that way you all know what is happening. Hope this makes sense.

Yeah, google cached the front page of the story. All the links to chapters try to load it from fimfiction and don't work, though. I was hoping there was a cache of those, too, but wasn't having much luck.
No problem. I downloaded that archive, but it's taking forever to unzip. It'll be interesting to see if anythings in there...

From what it sounds like, it might have all the chapters archived as well. That's actually really awesome! Glad that somebody did that, they just saved me from using a worse description for sure! And not to mention I get to see all the comments!

No problem! Keep in mind it was dated 3/1, so things newer are probably missing. And if there were any usernames I missed that stories might've been under, let me know, since I still have the whole thing around right now. (I'll probably keep it around for a bit, because I can think of fun uses for a large archive of fanfiction...)
