Back in 2014/15, I had different feelings compared to now. I used to think that Shining Armor wasn't under any control during the wedding rehearsal. While Chrysalis didn't use the mind control spell directly on him, he was still under too much influence from the spell, which made him turn against Twilight. It really wasn't Shining's fault in that case. My interpretation now is, if Shining was never under any spell, he would've noticed "Cadence's" behavior and would've taken his sister's concerns more seriously. When it comes to Twilight's friends and Celestia, that's a different story, and she has every right to be mad at them.
The reason I made this fic because I felt like other fics didn't do enough to accuse Shining Armor. It was pretty much made as a revenge fantasy more than anything. As time went on, I started looking at things more objectively. Right now I just feel that I'm simply wasting my time with this fic, because I saw things differently the time I first made and published it, and I'm just not the same person I was back then.

I think you should. The concept for your story is real interesting and your chapters are well done. In my honest opinion, I think you should rewrite your story, with your new feelings and ideas being addressed in the story, plus a bit of lore change here and there, like instead of having Shining Armor being mind controlled by Chrysalis, she should just use a subtle manipulation spell on Shining. Plenty of fanfics try to add new stuff that wasn't in the show to add depth in them, and making this simple change is pretty small compared to other fanfics.

I see your point, it's just that rewriting would take alot of thinking to do. I do appreciate that alot of people enjoy my story, but it's really hard for me to write because of my disability.
