Be aware of how much salt is in canned soup. People's diets are so much worse now and it's very easy to get enough sodium to raise your blood pressure 20 or 30 points just from the modified diet. Two cans of soup has more than the daily maximum one should have. It is very easy to get four times as much as the daily maximum from packaged foods if you are not careful.

My sodium is borderline high, so unlike Twilight Sparkle, I plan on living on something besides soup.

Yep, just with how many stores have empty shelves and the social distancing mandated with coronavirus, I figured a lot of people aren't watching their salt. I mean the box chicken parm had 940mg. That brunch just put me 40% of the way to the maximum. I'd be over the maximum just eating one can of soup right now.

On Tuesday, Bluebook and I finished our walk by going shopping at the Giant Eagle, which is about a block from our house. In addition to the predictably empty shelves for paper goods and bread, we were rather shocked that few jugs of Hershey's chocolate syrup remained. The same was true for pancake (that is, decidedly not maple) syrup.

Not that I'm one to talk with my difficult relationship with food, but... wow.
