Wednesday Reading and also a question: Shouty Dragons edition

This.... took some doing. Not due to the length of the story, but rather, well, because I seemed to have forgotten a hard-learned lesson.

But back on track, this week's fare is Pony Peace is Dragon War by HapHazred. For not being a shipfic, I also find the parallels between Thorax and Ember's shouting sessions and... other stress-relieving activities amusing.

Oh, also, can someone PLEASE draw some non-blatantly-shippy art of Thorax and Ember? I could literally find one on Derpibooru. Just... one. Thanks in advance.

Also, a question for anyone who might be following these readings on a regular basis, or just anyone who might take an interest. So far, I've been sticking to a strict schedule of At Least One Story Each Week. However, currently my output capacity seems to be hovering around the ten thousand words per week, or give or take an hour and a half {mostly due to, let's call it logistics}. However, that means that I won't be able to produce readings of longer stories, and there are some that I would like to give attention to. So, would anyone have a preference on whether I should stick with short, self-contained stories or compromise that in favour of occasionally putting out longer stories on a chapter-by-chapter basis?
