After Shepherd had managed to recover from his fainting spell, he began hugging Twilight tightly.
Shepherd: "I'm-We're-We're gonna be-We're pregnant!"
Twilight: "Y-yes! Yes we are!"
Shepherd: "Holy crap! Holy... Wow... We're... How?!"
Dash: "Don't you two know how sex works? Sheesh!"
Shepherd: "I didn't mean that! I meant-How do our genetics work?!"
Twilight: "Well, um... I'm still working on that. I did ask Princess Celestia."
Shepherd: "And?"
Twilight: "She said 'Magic.'"
Shepherd: "... And?"
Twilight: "That's it."
Shepherd: "... Freaking magic pony princesses."
Twilight: "Hey!"
Shepherd: "Present company excepted, of course."
Dash: *laughs* "So! You two are going to be parents, huh? Way to go!" *She pats his shoulder* "Go you! I'm first for godmother, right?"
Twilight: "Um..."
Dash: "Cadence isn't stealing this from me!"
Shepherd: "Why can't you settle for Aunt?"
Dash: "Because then I'll have to fight Applejack over it!"
AJ: *Comes up with a cart of baby toys* "Anypony looking for a godmother?"
Dash: "AH! WHAT THE HAY?! HOW DID YOU KNOW?!"
AJ: *rolls her eyes* "Some of us know when a mare is pregnant before she does."
