I believe that stories help us to ennoble ourselves, to fix what is broken in us, and to help us become the people we dream of being. Lies that tell a deeper truth.

    Sweet Jesus, My Back!

Ok so the other day I wake up. All normal right? WRONG!!!!!! I had the most cutting pain in my lower back I've ever experienced! It was so bad I had to spend, not exaggerating here, 20 minutes figuring out a way to force myself to sit upright and then stand up. Don't know what I did to mess up my back but I have a heat pad and plenty of advil. Apparently that and warm baths are about the best I

    Happy Easter!

Hope you're all having a wonderful day! I'm enjoying a nice day off of work playing iRacing. My brain is too smooth for real drivers at the moment, since I haven't played it in over a year, so I'm going up against the AI:twilightsheepish: And also I feel like I should get in the habit of blogging a bit more. It's been a while.

    Happy New Year

Happy New Year everypony! I spent the night, and day today, just gaming:rainbowlaugh: Playing some Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, which is absolutely fantastic! If you loved Baldur's Gate 3 and love 40k, Rogue Trader is the perfect RPG to get into. As for my plans in 2024, I do have a story nearly finished. It's a quick one-shot and I'm hoping to upload it before the end of the month. Hopefully you

Think Different · 5:06pm Mar 6th, 2020

Apple likes the phrase "Think Different." Well here's a long video 25 minute video of some of Apple's most significant blunders as a tech company. My issue with Apple isn't only that they make products not worth their price, but more that their customers believe in this "Apple Utopia" where everything is perfect and nothing could possibly go wrong with their machines. I have never seen a tech company where the customers will believe they did something wrong instead of horrible design by the company. If you have the time I highly recommend watching this video below because I think it's incredibly informative, especially to a good portion of you who likely own Apple products. To be clear, if you like your Apple products, great! I'm glad it's a device you like. But if something goes wrong on it that wasn't your fault, don't be afraid to place blame on Apple. It's only by holding companies like theirs accountable for when they fail that they will make better products. Case in point, Apple's latest Macbook Pro 16" got rid of the horrible butterfly switches and went back to the traditional scissor switches all other laptop keyboards use. This was largely because consumers voiced their anger on this and that the keyboards failed at an alarming amount.

Ha! My sister is 100% one of those people you mentioned. When something goes wrong she blames herself, me or says that nothing's wrong. Like the fact that apple uses a different plug for EVERY. SINGLE. DEVICE. She doesn't see the problem with that at all. :facehoof: Nevermind the fact that for the price of her MacBook I got a superpowered ASUS laptop with a TB of space and every plug for every kind of cord you'd possibly want to plug in. Whereas with her MacBook we had to get a goddamn converter to plug in an HDMI cable. :facehoof:

Also my dad got a really good ASUS notebook for only like a tenth the price of a MacBook.
