In case you were wondering, no, I'm not dead. I did, however, have a lot of life happening that prevented me from fully coming back in any meaningful way.
That, and to be brutally honest, I was losing interest.
Losing interest in writing fanfiction, losing interest in ponies, you name it. Really, it was inevitable. I first came to this site all the way in 2012. 8 entire years ago. I was in junior high at the time, and now I'm an adult in college. Funny how time changes things.
Long story short, I want to move on and start writing legitimate works. Stuff that I'll be able to at least earn a partial living off of, without having to carry the stigma of fanfics behind me. (Not to discredit fanfics, but we all know how they're still viewed in the normie sphere)
But I'm not quite done here. The first fic I ever wrote for this site was a Doom crossover, one that I had genuine passion for at the time. Seeing as I have another one still running as of now, I see an opportunity.
I will try to write and finish Slayer over the next month or so hopefully before Doom Eternal comes out. Once that is done, I will be, too. I'll officially be retiring from Fimfiction, and though I might log in again every so often, I definitely won't write any more here.
Of course, I have other unfinished fics on my account, and to fans of those, I must say I'm sorry. Those fics became lost in the shuffle of writer's block and general life events happening, until I lost interest in them. So consider this an official cancellation of any of those, as well.
Sorry if this disappoints some of you, but I'd like to move on, and I don't want to do that without giving you guys one last hurrah. I hope you understand.

I'm glad you're moving on to things you consider better, and I'm happy you're at least finishing Slayer. I'd love to see what original fiction you put out in the future.
Well hey I wish you luck in your future endeavors. I'll admit it's sad to see you go and to see that some of your stories will be left unfinshed except Slayer, was looking forward to that sequel to 'An equestrian payday', but hey its your decision to move on and I'm sure almost everyone, me included, respects your decision and wishes you luck.
