First crack at horror

I've got a great idea for a horror/action/comedy, but the question is... how much is too far? I'm worried that in my pursuit I may create something bad like I did with Build-A-Alicorn [which I plan to one day fix], so I leave it up to you guys.
What is the ideal horror for you guys on a scale of one to ten in your opinion?

Things have been busy lately with Megacon coming up and college stuff to worry about, that's why there's been a bit of an update dry spell, also I'm planning on resuming Fusion Life, but I'm stuck on a part and don't know how to get through it, it will be a bit but I'll try to churn out more chapters for you guys.

I got an offer

I need some time to work out Serpentina and Morality Machine, so while I do that I have more fun stories that aren't as long.
This will maximize the stories you all get while providing premier entertainment.
What say you guys?
Sound like a good idea? Or should I just stick to my guns?
