The Mean 3: Back in Action

Hello everyone! Friendship Agent 27 here with a late bedtime blog to talk more about the returning villains for my story. Tonight we will finish the villains part of the brainstorming in terms of character bios with the last batch being the Mean 3: Cozy Glow, Chrysalis, and Tirek. Let's start with the ladies first.

Chrysalis, as we all know, is the outcast former princess of the Changeling race with a lust for revenge against Starlight Glimmer. Since her downfall of losing her army to the power of love, she went into exile and became crazy, trying many ways to get back at the one who defeated her while she had several characters from Gen 4 indisposed. Already she has shapeshifting abilities and wields powerful magic that even rivaled Princess Celestia. She believes that friendship is a "disease" and avoids it at all costs. Whatever is going on with her mentality, is being caused by some creeping darkness that wants her for some reason; I don't know what it is and I don't like it. She is one of the last villains to exist in Gen 4 history to attain greater power from the Bewitching Bell that "Grogar" Discord had when backstabbing him.

For Cozy Glow, she was the main focused antagonist of the Young 6 and Mane 6 when rallying all the students of Twilight's school against Chancellor Neighsay. She was able to convince the students into her way of thinking and take over the school for herself while the Mane 6 were trapped in Tartarus. Cozy Glow was a new pegasus featured in season 8 of Gen 4 who pretended to act like a novice to learning stuff about friendship and can take advantage of those around her. For a pony so small, she has quite the IQ if she can create evil deeds on the go. She did get a major power boost from the Bewitching Bell but it was kind of awkward that it did not work for her in terms of magic, but she then became an alicorn nonetheless.

Finally, there's Tirek. Black and red centaur with horns and with a hunger for magic from all ponies. After being freed from Tartarus for the second time, Discord in disguise as Grogar gave him a little bit of magic to rejuvenate him. He hates the Mane 6, especially Twilight Sparkle after he was sealed away the first time, and wants revenge. He can steal the magical lifeforce from any pony race which is why he is based on greed. Since his return, he works out with training his muscles and not his magical prowess. In the end, he was able to get more power from the Bewitching Bell and attack Equestria.

Now... all of them did what they did in season 9 of Gen 4. The ultimate punishment they received was a stone sleep spell for who knows how long. What they can do for their roles in my story is come back to life from Corbel's magic and work under him as his commanders. They would all agree on Corbel's plans, but eventually, quit when they see what he had planned for them and try to help the main protagonists. This would be a redemption arc for them but at least Starlight Glimmer can reform Chrysalis since they have a history, Cozy Glow would be punished by her parents under strict rules, and as for Tirek... well, he could try not to be so power-hungry, but I will have to see what I write off the top of my head to deal with these characters.
