Should I include Transformers in the story? · 4:42pm Feb 21st, 2020
By now we have Voltron: Legendary Defender as one of the minor crossovers of the story... but what would you guys think if I included Transformers too? Of course, rather than a First Contact with Equestria and Praeratus, it'd be like this:
-Most of the Milky Way Galaxy species know about the Cybertronians (or rather, cybertronians) and their civil war, but neither the Confederation nor the Hegemony want to involve themselves, the latter because of their racism against machines, the former because Cybertron's system is right in the middle of a hyperspace lane that leads directly to an important Hegemony system (which also explains the Hegemony attitude and why they don't attack them). Despite this, the Confederal government allows refugees to settle on their worlds as non-Core members as long as they don't cause trouble.
-The Transformers side would be a mix of all continuities: the cybertronians would be the size of their Beast Wars descendants (Optimus and Megatron would be, at most, fifteen feet tall), the aesthetics would be from War For Cybertron, the backstory would be a mix of Prime, the films and IDW 2005...
-The Autobots would have tried to get the Confederation to help them directly without success.
