Just wondering. · 5:34pm Feb 20th, 2020
I was checking my stats on The Line Between Fire and Light and noticed that Plagscan has linked to it three times.
Does that mean someone was trying to see if I plagiarized this story or that someone else was plagiarizing my story? Since it's mostly used by schools I have to wonder where my story even comes into it.
I mean, I understand if someone thought I had copied it, I had a regular update schedule and was even doing daily updates for a while. Had I not been writing this for most of a year before I started posting I wouldn't have anywhere near the output I managed.
Then comes the question "Who would want to plagiarize me?" My stuff is full of errors and the main character is a Marty Stu.
I was just wondering, because, while understandable, it's never a nice feeling that people may have thought I stole the whole thing.
This whole thing is uncomfortable to think about.
The Grammarly link is understandable. I'd a great example of "don't do this."

Maybe. It is the only story I have with Plagscan on it so maybe not regular but not uncommon.
I do feel better that it's not just me with the link who doesn't know.

Hey, I actually found something out about it. Not much, but someone else looked into it, Doesn't answer exactly why our stories show it, but there are a couple reasons why.
