Animal Abuse - There are some scumbags out there that need to be dealt with!

There is one thing in life that I have so much trouble trying to understand - why do people abuse animals?

This subject has a very serious rage spot in my brain and heart for all people that think it’s funny and entertaining to harm, injure or mindlessly abuse animals with nothing but neglect. To me, those who do this are the biggest scumbags on the planet, and they all deserve to be lined up against a wall while crowds of people toss cinder blocks at them.

It really does annoy me quite a bit, and I read a post on Reddit earlier this morning, about a type of animal which holds a place in my heart. Thankfully, a woman said she found and took in a baby guinea pig, only about two months old, left abandoned at a gas station in a cardboard box. It made me incredibly sad to the point I actually cried not long after putting my phone down.

Who the hell does that? To a fucking baby, nonetheless?! At two months old, that poor animal wouldn’t have lasted for long if this woman hadn’t come along and taken him in! It’s a defenceless animal that requires love, attention and respect. It is a living creature that should be taken care of and cherished. The scumbags out there that don’t see that respect that is due to these innocent animals disgust me on a very personal level.

If you don’t want an animal or if you don’t want to have it in your home for one reason or another, there are literally thousands of animal shelters, RSPCA centres, homes of people willing to open their hearts and homes up to them, etc, so why the hell you’d choose to stick them by the side of the road is beyond me. Like, why would you do that? Out of all of the options made very accessible to you, why in the bloody hell would you put it in a cardboard box and shove it someplace where you don’t know what will happen to it, essentially giving it a death sentence? Have you no shame?

Animal abusers piss me off because of my dog, Lenny. He died not long ago, but he had a very good and long life, longer than was expected due to how he was treated. I don’t know the exact details, me having been so young when we got him, but he had been forced to fight for entertainment purposes. He had been burned, scarred, beaten to hell, starved, neglected and hit constantly. He had missing a tooth and some sick bastard thought it’d be hilarious to brand a smiley face on his head!

When he came to our home and I saw him for the first time, he looked miserable. He barely resembled a living animal; he was a bag of bones in the sense that he could be played as a xylophone. If we hadn’t taken him in when we did, he would have been put to sleep. Because nobody gave a shit about him. They had no respect.

Lenny was my dog, a member of our family, and if I saw anybody that wanted to hurt him, believe me, I would have no problem with giving them a piece of my mind. Ever single time I hear about stories like this, I want to cry hard and tear apart those responsible for doing this to an animal.

As an animal lover myself, I don’t care if we’re talking, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, hamsters, degus, ducks, rabbits, domesticated or wild variants - they are all animals and parts of nature. I won’t stand or tolerate any low-life scumbag intentionally bringing harm to them for one reason or the other. There is no need for it or an excuse to do it.

Going back to what I said at the start, wouldn’t it be so great if we could round up all of these animal-abusing cretins and line them up against a wall and lock them in a room with animals that they have abused and let them go at it? Let’s see how they like being torn to shreds and beaten for a change, let them experience the hell they put their animals through.

Seriously, if you don’t want an animal or if you can no longer care for it, don’t you dare even think about dumping it on the side of the road or someplace else where it’s likely to starve or freeze to death; give it up to an animal rescue place. That way, it will likely get adopted to a loving home that want it to be a part of their family. It’ll go someplace where it’ll be taken care of and not left to die.

It breaks my heart so bad whenever I encounter a story anywhere featuring neglectful pet owners or psychopaths hurting animals for fun in general. I legit cry each time I see one because it hurts me so badly on the inside, like a fast track to my emotions and my heartstrings. Unfortunately, this is the human race and this is planet Earth where such levels of scumbags, psychos, sociopaths and all-around asswipes live together in perfect disharmony.

Lastly, it doesn’t matter where you are in the world - If you’re reading this and you feel as strongly as I do about animal abuse, neglect and mistreatment, I urge you to call the local authorities and put an end to it. No animal should suffer like this, in any way, shape or form. Call the RSPCA or any animal welfare organisation and get things put right. Every living creature deserves to be treated with respect and love, and they all deserve a loving home where they’ll be cared for.

A final message to the abusers out there - Each time you get up, I want you to take a good, long stare at yourself in the mirror and re-evaluate your existence. Ask yourself: ''What the hell is wrong with me?''. You dirty degenerates. 🖕
