Alright, my fellow readers, I have come to a bit of a stalemate. I don't know whether it's better to continue on the story on my original draft or should I change it?
The original: Deviates from canon when Chrysalis wins the battle of Canterlot, when Shining Armor and Cadance's love spell fails to activate
A random idea I just had last night: As you can infer from the title, deviates from something much.. more... sinister.
By the way, if the random idea is more popular, there is definitely going to be a #violence, #death, #tragedy edited onto the description.

I say Cadence should live she does appear to honestly care for Pillar and after all, killing as big of a sorce of love as Cadence is honestly foolish.
Let Cadence live there nothing more painful than to know that someone you care, has turned against you and your kind and knowing that she has a hand into that path, cutting a deep wound that shouldn't have been cut in the first place. Cadence shall live but she will feel the same pain as Chrysalis when she was Caterpillar, being affinity to love she shall be harm emotionally, besides cadence is walking food for the changeling killing her off will be none beneficial for the changeling as a whole, she is a princess of food for them.

My full idea was for Chrysalis to kill Cadance and replace her, brainwashing Shining Armor so that she could pull the strings of Equestria from behind. However, Chrysalis would feel massive guilt about this as time progresses, and later, this would be found out, leading to consequences... However, I will continue this poll for some time and if letting Cadance live is the consensus of the jury, than I'll keep her alive.

Maybe somehow mix this idea with Cadance alive, giving the suggestions? Like, brainwash Cadance into forgetting she was a princess, and then changing her appearance (physically, or magically) so she would be unrecognizable and then sending her to some horrible fate (like idk some poor homeless begger or slave) so Chrysalis would still feel guilty later, but Cadance would be alive?
I think that the majority of the community wants to keep Cadance alive, so it is decided that this fic will go down a more moderate course. Thank you for your participation.
