A lovely announcement · 12:04am Feb 14th, 2020

And no, it's not because I found a Valentine's date or anything because I am still single but not ready to mingle. No, I'm on about this:

Just a cute scene of Leon and Mona having a romantic date while playing on their tablets. To some, that may not seem romantic. But to them? It is. And who are these fine pussies you may ask? Well, they're characters in an animated series I'm working on called The Autistic World Of The Autist (or TAWOTA for short). As you can guess by the title, every character on the show is on the autism spectrum so I'm mostly going to be hiring people that are on the autism spectrum, whether they be writers or voice actors. I was gonna save this announcement for when I have completed the teaser trailer, which is 4 minutes and 18 seconds long and I managed to complete 20 seconds, but I had nothing else Valentine's Day related so...yeah. Might make a casting call soon. Maybe get some more writers on the team. I'll let you know.

Oh, and in spite of the artstyle, this show is definitely not for kids. But it's less like shows like Family Guy and more like an adult version of the first three seasons of SpongeBob (because those seasons were the best seasons).

Characters:

Leon DaAutism:

As you can tell by the name, he is based on me. I kinda want to call him the main protagonist but I'm very certain that role is shared between him and Brian (especially since Brian's the more interesting and entertaining one). Unlike me (though that's because this is a small bit of wish-fulfilment, not much though because I'm better than that), he more often than not self-medicates with alcohol, catnip, and masturbating. Especially alcohol. In spite of this, he is a firm believer in God, even though he gets very annoyed when he has to be dragged out of his comfort zone into some wacky misadventure. Also, like me, he doesn't like the thought of sex nor any sexual acts. Not even kissing (unless it's eskimo kisses).

Well, I myself don't mind seeing make-out sessions but that's because I don't have to feel or even think about someone else's saliva in my mouth.

Brian Carrotsticks:

Leon's Aspergic bestie (or one of his Aspergic besties), who has an eidetic memory and, in spite of being childlike (apart from the occasional swear) and having an unusual hatred of the opposite gender, even has a family of his own and is more independent than Leon. That said, he does have a habit of getting corrupted by magical artefacts and, when Mona is involved, his common sense tends to waver because he wants to undermine her. He also happens to be the more anxious out of the two and, despite being a savant, can be pretty naive at times.

Imaginee:

The main antagonist of the first season, who has Asperger's and malignant narcissism (though it should be pointed out that it is very rare for someone on the autism spectrum to have a comorbid narcissistic personality disorder, not that Imaginee considers himself disordered). Disillusioned with right and wrong along with seeing the universe as a chaotic mess, Imaginee made it his life-long mission to traverse the universe and conquer any planet he sees fit, mainly by mass-murdering its inhabitants and forcibly converting the survivors into what he dubs "cybernetic-organic zombies", or Cyborgzoms for short. Horrific mishmashes of flesh and machinery that Imaginee had conditioned into accepting the world the way he sees it as well as having a good portion of their mental faculties destroyed except for a small part of them that is begging for the sweet release of death. And when he ain't doing that, he's busy trying to find magical artefacts that can give him unlimited power and make him immortal.

Yeah, he is a pretty dark villain despite the show's lighthearted tone (well, somewhat lighthearted since it is aimed at an adult audience). Despite being a pretty dark character, he does have his funny moments. Mainly when he making sardonic remarks or even the occasional pun. Also, death and torture aren't his only lot in life in that he is fascinated with medicine and psychology and, along with being a fan of the Batman comics (to the point of deliberately quoting the The Dark Knight Rises version of Bane on a regular basis, voice and all), he is also an otaku (though he's more into things like Neon Genesis Evangelion and Puella Magia Madoka Magica).

Mona Short:

Leon's girlfriend and heir to the Short family fortune. Remember when I said Leon's existence is a small bit of wish fulfilment? Yeah, Mona's a part of that courtesy of being rich, bisexual, being a female version of Leon (apart from the aforementioned bisexuality along with having way less of an alcohol problem than what Leon does), and being what Leon considers attractive. Seriously, she is like the double fucking rainbow of girlfriends!

Ahem, I'm getting off-track here. Anyway, she was also not conceived in the conventional way since she was artificially grown using a petri dish and the DNA of her dads (who are twins BTW, no incest-homo). And, while she doesn't drink or fap as much as Leon does, she does like to spend her money on adrenaline-fueled activities like roller coasters and skydiving.

Whew. Your art style is like a weird mix of Happy Tree Friends and South Park. It's very interesting.

Glad you like it.

Your show looks really interesting. I love the concept behind it. Feel free to promote it in my group The Share Center as much as you like. I'd love to see updates to the project. :)
