While I have been interested in Mlp for a few years now I have only, up until recently, been a fan of fanfics or fan art and haven’t actually watched or read much of the official material. I find it a little bit sad and worrying that I didn’t decide to become involved in the fandom until after the series ended since it could mean that I would be too late. Thankfully those worries have been quickly disproven.
Still with so much material and such a vast fandom I find myself at a loss when it comes to where to start. Do I watch the series from the beginning or are certainly episodes better than others? Should I read the comics or avoid them? What groups or stories are considered the best on this site and how does one find them. Things like that. My social anxiety doesn’t exactly make things easier when it comes to making friends.
Perhaps I’m overthinking everything or expect too much to happen considering I joined the site only recently but regardless I feel like writing these blogs help me a lot regardless if someone leaves a comment or not. Plus I know that I’m definitely not alone when it comes to feeling insecure about socializing whether it is online or in the real world.
