Okay, so, I'm finally in a mood to write this story again.
Problem is, I'm nowhere near creative enough to write more than like, two of the talent acts in it.
And while I could just gloss over the entirety of Ponyville's contributions to the show, I have a different idea.
What my current idea is, is that I open this chapter up to the readers that want me to continue this story!
I'm thinking something like this; if you want your OC in the story, or you would like to take over for a pony already in the story, PM me a draft of them performing for the show!
I'll try and include as many submissions as I can, the authors name will be in the AN, and above the section they wrote.
I don't know if anything I typed here made sense, here's hoping it did!

Well, I’d like to see the story continued, but I can’t say that I fully grasp what this idea is. Is it writing a self-contained section of a chapter that’s disconnected from the protagonist and current events, or...?

Well, since I've never done this kind of thing before... I don't know?
Should I put things in like a basic setting? A word count? I'm new.
Maybe have Doctor Hooves do sciencey stuff, even show casing a transportation device or something, maybe some tech that humans use but ponies dont have and is ultimately useless for ponies because there is a spell that does the same thing more easily? Like a fax machine (dragon fire beats it) or a printer (there is a spell that Twilight uses in the show to basically mass produce a book)
Would be cute for Derpy to bake muffins not really Understanding that its a talent contest, not a cooking contest. Then when told as such, she pulls out one of those music triangle things and starts playing it... poorly.

Rehashing episodes is kinda old news anyways. The timeline is already changed so why try shoving in events just because show canon?

If youre referring to the talent show bit? No, but i wont stop you from submitting a section, as i do plan on doing something like it, once we get to that point in the rewrite.
