I guess I haven't kept my fimfiction up to date on goings on. My dog Maggie was given a cancer prognosis on a tumor in her snout yesterday, a few hours before she started acting strange. Got her to the vet this morning. Cancer is a bitch and just because you only discover one tumor doesn't mean you know exactly how long it's been there or whether it's metastasized to other parts of the body. Maggie's cancer was apparently so far along that tumors in other parts of her body were causing her to steadily bleed into her abdomen. Unlike my dog Ginger that died in 2009 and Maggie's mother, Cassie, who died early last year, Maggie got to go real peaceful like in the vet's office and I'm glad for that. She's buried right next to her mom's grave now, right where I know she'd want to be.
Rest in peace, pupper. You were the last one.
RIP, and sorry for your loss. It's always sad to lose a pooch.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It was less than a month ago that I had to have my oldest cat put to sleep, so I know how hard it is, even when you know it's what's best for them.
Poor doggie.
