Keep in mind, I'm not trying to be a jerk for this...
But I'm one of those few people that, while I REALLY wish others the best of luck, it also REALLY annoys me when others like to share their hard times in life and some of it rarely makes any sense nearly on a daily basis.
For instance: I saw someone make a post about her parents planning to "kick her out of the house for 'no reason' while she's only 15-16 years old..." 😑
(While I don't think things like that COULDN'T happen in real life, it's still pretty farfetched to 100% go along with.)
Now don't get me wrong, I understand WHY others post about their problems here as a form of coping and whatnot, but it's becoming insane how practically 90% of the users here usually have suicidal thoughts, love beating themselves up over things no one should even be beating themselves up for, etc. It's like that one dramatic person in your class that never sucks it up and you get a little tired saying "it's alright" or "everything'll be fine" over and over...
Again, it's just a personal pet peeve, but I don't think the people struggling are awful or a nuisance or anything and I still hope things go well for them in the end.

That's because of society looking down upon Bronies/Pegsisters.
I'm not saying that you are "being disrespectful towards the community"
for I actually agree with you about sob stories.

A lot of us (at least we say) have mental issues. Like autism or Asbergers. Or depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts. I never really understood that. And yeah, it's insane to me how many people I know are "planning to kick them out," or how they've "had it all." It vets to the point where I'm not sure if I can take it seriously.

I understand where you're coming from, though I think I might stand on a different side of the opinion. (Don't get me wrong, I also agree with ya.)
While I have sympathy for those who are going through things, not all of them are really going through those things. I have this one girl in my class that keeps doing it for what I assume is attention. I said I had anxiety once(because it slipped apparently. I'm just as confused as you are), and then she turned around and immediately said she had depression. Everyone was telling her "It was going to be okay," and, "What's wrong?" and then she proceeded to explain that she was sad because all the cats in her neighborhood were dying. Flash forward to later in the class and no one's giving her any attention anymore, so she turns around and says "Oh no, here comes the anxiety." Like... what?
Now while it's completely okay to feel how you feel about certain things, it's not okay to weigh yourself down on people like that just because you want attention. Depression isn't hard to come by in some people. I have depression, and I also happen to be suicidal amongst the others who are on this site, but, you don't wave that term around to get attention; that's not how that works. Because the cats in her neighborhood were dying.
Either way, I'm also sort of that guy sometimes. When it comes to certain people; yes, I support them fully and wholly no matter how bad they feel. Sometimes I can clearly see when someone's just being an attention whore. I guess it's just like that because some people only care about themselves.
