For the rewrite, what would you prefer? · 8:30pm Jan 28th, 2020

So before I got to work in a bit, I wanna try and get this out.

I've been trying to decide on what to do for the rewrite, do you prefer:

(1) That I leave the old chapters on this story and post the new ones either alongside the old chapters (either side by side (a) or separating them with a halfway point (b).)
(a) Prologue old, prologue new, chapter 1 new, chapter 2 new, etc
(b) Old story, separating chapter, new story, etc

OR

(2) That I remove the old chapters and archive them on my DeviantART or Google Drive, replacing them with the new for a more streamlined experience.

I plan to put up a new story/chapter related to ESZ called Hymns of Harrowing within the next month, so do look out for that, I'm about 1/3 done writing it. Thanks again as always for reading and supporting, and as always your feedback, enjoyment, and critque is welcome and appreciated. You guys make this worth it.

1 I think works

1 in my opinion

It will be harder to organize with 1, just place the old chapters elsewhere and start over here.

I say 2. Honestly though, I love the story as is, but am curious as to what you feel was weak and could have been better.

I will have author retrospectives that I plan to release over time as I catch Lance up with the story. I would say it will be easiest to release these retrospectives in the form of blog posts and will have it from both of our prospectives.

I feel the story does warrant a rewrite due to my old co author no longer being in touch and, frankly, I'm not fond of how things were written in some parts ( my biggest issue being Twilight's presentation, and Sunset's characterization in this story from when she was introduced to when she started the fire in chapter 23, the fire itself I consider the point where things took a downturn). And since Corwin is no longer working on this, and because I didn't archive many of the notes (if they even existed in the first place) aren't able to be completed, I do not remember everything that was intended to be done from over 5 years ago.
