Toying with a sequel

For anyone who might be interested, I've been thinking about writing a sequel to Kindness and the Heart of Shadow. There is a little connecting short-story type of deal in the works, but it's already showing signs of turning into the full-length sequel proper. Since I prefer to finish the story completely before publishing any of it, I suspect it might be a while before I begin posting anything. Whatever my next story ends up becoming, it's going to focus a lot more on Fluttershy and Discord's relationship, but it will be significantly less action-packed. In fact, so far, it's mostly been just dialogue. The sequel will probably have a completely different feel from the original, and hopefully in a good way!

In the end, I'm mostly just writing fanfiction for my own satisfaction, but for anyone out there who might be looking forward to more, I welcome your input! Especially:

Would you rather it be a filly or a colt?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS oh my Luna I loved kindness and the Heart of the Shadow so much, so the fact that you might make a sequel is amazing. I don't necessarily have any input, and I dunno what the gender of the foal should be, but like *fangirling noises* such. a. Good. Fanfic.

First of all, your story's plot was amazing and I'm honestly intrigued. Second, I love how you complete the story and publishing it in the regular intervals, I like the uniqueness since hopefully the anticipation of the story to be completed will be less (mostly not kill). So please take your own time, don't be rushed. Third, as for your sequel I'll be looking forward for fluttercord fluff (I can't help as I'm a hard core fan), especially after fluttershy undergone such torment to ease her hideous scar (but I don't want my interest to affect your storyline since its your story). Finally I'd prefer colt (strange?).
But please don't pressure yourself if you have already planned what your story wanna be. That's it. Have a good day.
