What follows is a very incomplete dictionary of terminology used in social-political Internet discussion.
Racism: Tribalism based on skin color or other easily identifiable heritable trait.
Sexism: Tribalism based on human sexual dimorphisms or traits stereotypically associated with those dimorphisms.
Nationalism: Tribalism based on place of birth or residence.
Patriotism: See Nationalism.
Egocentrism: Tribalism based on being alone in a tribe of one.
Egalitarianism: Tribalism based on every sapient entity being in one big tribe together.
Tribalism: The method by which humans tend to organize the distribution of moral value.
Cultural Appropriation: When someone uses synthesis in the presence of somebody else who doesn't understand what synthesis is.
Alpha Male: A man who believes that being loud, obnoxious, and insensitive is how you get the women.
Beta Male: Any man whom the Alpha Male is jealous of, often because he's inexplicably beaten the Alpha-Male to a stable relationship.
Deadname: A prior name of any person who has legally changed their name. So called because anybody who hears their own deadname is liable to abruptly drop dead; hence why use of deadnames is strictly punished.
Pansexual: Open to sexual relationships with either sex or any combination thereof.
Bisexual: Open to sexual relationships with either sex, but not hermaphrodites for some reason. Correlated with enjoying both chocolate and vanilla ice cream, but only in separate bowls.
Gender: A word of indeterminate meaning whose primary purpose is to cause vicious arguments that ultimately fail to clarify its meaning.
Capitalism: A system of resource allocation in which it is assumed that people are inherently reasonable and trustworthy, and it is expected that people pursue their own ends without screwing over other people.
Fascism: When it turns out that people in a capitalist society are not inherently reasonable and trustworthy.
Socialism: A system of resource allocation in which it is assumed that people are inherently reasonable and trustworthy, and it is expected that everyone cooperates towards shared goals without taking anything for themselves.
Communism: When it turns out that people in a socialist society are not inherently reasonable and trustworthy.
Government: The group with the biggest stick.
Democracy: Wherein everyone gets a hand on the biggest stick. Very difficult to swing.
Republic: Wherein everyone participates in choosing a group of people that get to hold the biggest stick. Everyone else gets to pretend to hold the stick.
Dictatorship: Wherein one person or a handful of people holds the biggest stick. Different from a republic in that people don't get to pretend that they're holding the stick.
Monarchy: Wherein one person or a handful of people is handed the biggest stick from their parents. Different from a dictatorship in that storytellers are nicer to them.
Anarchy: Wherein nobody has the biggest stick. This can occur when everybody has a stick of precisely the same size, and nobody realizes they can take somebody else's stick.
Misanthropy: The final form of a person who has both intelligence and compassion.
