Stupid jokes aside, it's always nice to see more contests popping up. Means more stories to read
that I'll never get around to, seriously I still have Imposing Sovereigns and Sunset Shipping Contest: Changing Seasons stories to read but nevermind thatGoodness, I really do, but I'm already planning four fics for this spring! I doubt I'll make it.

Obscure references to brilliant comics aside, I have been trying to write a lot more this year (and have managed it so far, though that's hardly long enough to be too confident) and while I'm intending to mostly focus on my own series, I might be able to come up with something I'd feel okay submitting, we'll have to see. If nothing else, even if I have no expectation of winning, I can at least help whoever does get a bit more from the contest.

It's funny; someone else asked me via PM if I was a brony YouTuber who also uses the expression. I'm neither; the catchphrase is just a fun way of getting people's attention. You know, when you don't factor in the aberration audience.
