    The party friend group

Freddy: The one who knows how to party elegantly, with class and sass, and never out of control.

Bonnie: the unwilling DD, meaning he's going to make everyone as miserable as he can to match his own mood

    Chica: Drugs.

    Foxy: the newcomer to partying

    Wild shit

That moment when u realize that Travis Knight, the guy who directed bumblebee, also was a lead animator for coraline.

    That explains everything.

Update in the hot dog situation!

So good news. Yes, fry those hotdogs up with some oil in a frying pan. They are delightful.

And honestly, taste way better than when steamed.

    10/10 💅

The only reason I agreed to volunteer at a church · 12:15am Jan 8th, 2020

I soon quit after they got rid of the donuts and coffee.

Free food, count me in XD

Sounds reasonable to me!

XD y'all play too much.

At my school, they use to do prayer at the pole and they had doughnuts! I would bring big ziplock bag to get the doughnuts but they stopped doing the activity because the guy who was doing it got caught sexually abusing someone.

I get that you're not religious, so this can be seen as funny, but I believe we should make good choices of our own free will. Someone who has to be motivated by some outside reward is usually seen as lazy and unwise.

wait
what kind of donuts?

But isn't that Christianity in general? You're only being a good person because you are motivated by an eternal afterlife of perfection?

5181804
Hehehe! That's probably correct!

5181808
Yes, I agree with you on that. I just have to control my hunger for sweets at events. Everyone should share things with each other.

5181810
That's what secular, blinded Christians believe, who can't see past their unmotivated minds. The point we should strive for is to be a good person because it feels good to be a good person, not because you're dreaming of the mansion you'll inherit when you die. That's very prideful, and Christ wasn't about that. Christians who can't see that are missing the point completely.

5181814
I dunno man, that's how every church I've ever been to has sold Christianity.

5181814
5181816

I’m motivated to be a good person spontaneously, other times I could watch the world burn and not give a damn

I'm not religious, I don't go to church, however I respect other religions... So long as you don't try to get me to join.

You do you folks, I've just had one too many bad experiences with Christians to even be remotely interested in holy texts outside of seeing them as myths and legends. Some people put their faith in higher powers, I put my faith in other people.

5181816
They missed the entire point, then. Think for a second about how Christ would think. He didn't die for our sins or heal the sick because he was thinking about how good his heavenly report card would be. He was just trying to do good because he wanted to. And he wanted to because doing good made him feel love.

The motivation has to come from inside you, because if it comes from inside you, no one and nothing can take it away. Take away the donuts, and your motivation is gone. If you want to help because you love the community, however, nothing can stop you from going.

5181820
Same. I am a firm believer if the aliens came to take over, I wouldn't care cause all they can take over is a mess of a humanity. But I also kinda wanna save it.

5181820
That's our flaw as humans. That's part of the package deal.

5181823
The way I see it, I work like it all depends on me and pray like it all depends on God, and with that mix, usually my problems end up being small or insignificant.

5181823
Hmm... didn’t know I had a second account XD

I believe that there's no such thing as heaven or hell, or God, or demons etc. I believe that we all have one shot and that's it, so I figured "hey, if we're all going to die and cease anyway, why not make the experience better for others?" and I've never looked back since.

I also love the gif because I really love Transformers!

5181843
OMG my angel pm me we are going to fangirl over transformers.

When you just wanted to share a joke, and instead everyone is coming out about their religions.

5181845
Yep, basically. I knew it was a joke.

5181839
I agree. My church doesn't have a monopoly on the goodness in the world. Anyone can have it. At the same time, anyone can be evil. Like you said, people use religion as a weapon. Look at the Crusades! Look at the Islamic State! People are bad, and misinterpret doctrine or shape it to fit their desires. Those guys miss the point too. The religion isn't at fault. It's the bad people.

5181845
I started it. But it's a good thing. People are connecting, regardless of their differences. Not motivated by anything.

5181845
I've elected to make an effort to not discuss my beliefs in full public as I've seemed to develop a strange knack for saying it in the company of Christians who insist on mistaking my faith as Satanic:derpytongue2:

5181851
That's the only thing stopping you? Come off it. The same thing happens to me when I tell others about my beliefs. I get labeled as a false Christian all the time because I'm a "Mormon." And you very obviously don't worship Satan, but still get ostracized? Maybe we have something in common.

5181844
Now do you see why I love this adorable girl so much?!

5181845
I'm sorry, I saw everyone else talking about their beliefs that I figured I might as well share also, it should've been apparent to me that your intentions weren't this and I'm sorry for not realising it until it was too late, I'm sorry.

5181835
Well everyone's different and that's really cool. That sounds nice honestly. I had an unfortunate experience of a friends mum telling me to grow up and that I'm going to hell for liking pokemon when I was 13-14. So I never really had the benefit of meeting more open-minded religious folks until I was an adult and by that point the damage was already done.

I still find discussions like this fascinating though. It goes to show how strong some people can be in times where people are ripping each others heads off over the slightest thing.

It's kind of weird putting this into words, I'm worried I'm going to accidentally offend someone.

5181836
Great minds think alike?

5181845
Hello, I'm Dragonfire2lm, dense as a fucking rock and I take most things too seriously.

5181845
I know, but hey! Everyone has the right to talk about religions. It can be annoying sometimes but it's interesting to see what people will say. I use to go to church a lot but since my grandpa had his stoke and my grandma can't drive anymore, I have stopped going and sometimes, I miss going to church.

5181852
TBF: I'm mostly not a fan of the ensuing headache when I inevitably take the bait and explain my beliefs further; which gets occasionally interpreted as me directly attacking Christianity (or apparently bulling someone for being Christian), which gets me on the receiving end of being told to be more respectful: ironically from people with little (or none) respect for non-Christian faiths.

How do I put it plainly...
I don't like using the term Entitled Snowflake...but for some folks here I would be temped to use the term Entitled Snowflake.
What is more: I find this problem more often when conversing with people who call themselves Conservative and have a lot to say about 'Liberals forcing their beliefs on others'.

Maybe we have something in common

I've made this observation myself a few times:derpytongue2:
To put it simply: you're one of the reasons why I still donate blood:twilightsmile:

5181860
If you're dense as a rock then I'm fucking osmium.

5181844
Yes! Let's go Transformers Girls! Transformer Girl Power! You start off the pm!

5181858
Some people think we're going to hell for liking MLP. Some people think we're going to hell for even owning a TV. But God is the final word on if we go to hell, not them.

The only thing you do go to hell for liking is Star Trek 5, Cars 2, and MLP G3.5. :rainbowwild: :derpytongue2:

5181864
Aww! That's so nice to hear! Knowing I bring inspiration to one new person is enough to make me feel better about myself.

5181872
Cars 2 was a masterpiece that made Shrek look like The Room.

5181872
Really? Even for Cars 2 and why?! No! I don't wanna go to hell for watching Cars 2! I love those movies!
*Tears stream down my cheeks*

5181885
*pats your head* I was joking. Come here, you lovable thing.

5181872
You got a point there. Though if hell is anything like the one in The Divine Comedy, just not having faith in God is gonna land me there anyway.

Sorry, self deprecating snark is kinda my thing. I probably shouldn't be taking this so seriously, I like the concept that there's no true "correct" religion, so long as you're not hurting anyone you're good to go.

5181892
The Divine Comedy wasn't a revelation. It's just a widely-accepted version of how we see Hell... A place that we can't see.

And I do believe there is one true church, and that you can find it by following the promptings of the Spirit of God. Everyone else does come close, but there's only one correct road.

5181888
Good because I just recently saw it on DVD and I love it!
*Cuddles closely with you, purring!*

5181894
Yes, no sinners in that one church. People in the one true church will respect all people who are suffering and in need.
